The extend command copies the current drawing and then creates a new document on top of the current one. This allows us to reuse elements from our previous drawings, which is especially useful when we want to create multiple versions of the same design.

The Extend command is a very powerful tool in the InDesign CC that allows you to extend the content of a frame or text box. The Extend command will extend the frame or text box by one character, paragraph, page, column, or column and a half.

Extend command is a very useful tool for developers. This command can be used to copy and paste the content of one file to another file, which saves a lot of time when you need to edit multiple files at the same time.

The Extend command is used to extend a line, polyline, or spline. The Stretch command is used to stretch an object in the direction of the cursor. Both commands are found on the Modify tab of the Ribbon.
