There are several tools in AutoCAD to help you with this process. You can use the layout command to draw a floor plan or elevation view of your project. There are three types of layouts in AutoCAD - orthogonal, isometric and perspective. The orthogonal layout is the default layout for drafting and is the most common type of layout used. It's also the simplest one to use. The isometric layout has two axes - x and y. This makes it easier to create drawings that have a 3D effect. The perspective layout has three dimensions - x, y and z. Perspective layouts are mostly used in architectural drawings as they provide a more realistic view of objects drawn on paper.

The layout can be created using different tools, such as lines, arcs, blocks, dimensions and text. The layout can also be created using a combination of these tools.

The layout of a drawing in AutoCAD is the way the objects are placed on the drawing. It determines how much space is used for different objects and it also gives visual clues about how to do certain tasks.
