The user coordinate system in AutoCAD is a movable coordinate system (UCS). The workplane of the UCS is the XY plane. WCS and UCS have the same orientation in a drawing by default. You can move and reposition the UCS in 3D modelling view when you construct and alter objects in a 3D environment.

The first step to creating a dynamic UCS is by changing the size of an object on the drawing using its grips or by selecting it and pressing “D” on your keyboard. This will make it possible for you to change its size at any time in the future without having to redraw it all over again.

A dynamic UCS is a user-defined text that can be used for different purposes. It is the ultimate tool for content marketers and writers to create unique, personalized and compelling content.

The Dynamic UCS Command is a useful tool for drawing in AutoCAD. It allows you to draw a viewport without having to worry about the coordinate system.

Getting Started:

  • Open the UCS Manager by pressing Ctrl+U or right-clicking on the UCS icon in the status bar and choosing “UCS Manager” from the menu that appears.
  • In the UCS Manager, select Dynamic UCS from the list of options on the left-hand side of the window and click OK.
  • In your drawing, press F5 to activate Dynamic UCS mode and then start drawing by clicking on a point in your drawing and dragging with your mouse until you reach your desired size.

The Dynamic UCS command is easy to use and can save you time by reducing the number of times you have to manually type text. It also provides a variety of options for different audiences, such as adding colors, fonts, images, and more.
