Also known as a catchphrase. Library Science is the study of libraries. The index entry is a noteworthy or memorable word or term in the title, abstract, or text of a document or other thing being indexed.

Vocabulary study examines technical and company-specific terminology, determining which terms should be used consistently throughout the company's documentation and which terms should be avoided. A working title for the new product is chosen during the design stage, for example.
