Second Level Domain

The section of the domain name that comes before the Top Level Domain (TLD) is known as the Second Level Domain (SLD) (TLD). The SLD of mozilla.org, for example, is mozilla, and the TLD is org.

Google is a brand top-level domain (TLD) in the Internet's Domain Name System (DNS). It is run by Alphabet Inc., Google's parent company, and was founded in 2014. It is remarkable for being one of the first generic top-level domains (gTLD) to be associated with a specific brand.

Because the second level domain (SLD) is where you put your brand, it's vital. It's best to include your brand name in your SLD if you're a business, firm, or organisation.
