Domain Registration Process - Part 2

  • Come up with a catchy domain name.
  • Verify the domain name's availability.
  • Go to an internet service provider like ACTIVE 24 and register the domain.
  • Pay the outstanding domain name registration invoice.

Domain name registration normally takes 24-72 hours, while DNS server replication can take up to 72 hours.

Any of the leading domain registrars that are allowed by ICANN to register domain names can help you get a domain name. Because there are so many registrars, we'll go over the three most common methods for registering a domain name, and you can pick the one that best suits your needs.

If a domain is not renewed or purchased by a third party within 45 days after its expiration date, it enters Redemption (30 days if the domain is registered through FastDomains).
