A DNS enumeration attack is a type of attack that uses the Domain Name System to gather information about the target system.

A DNS enumeration attack is a type of cyber attack in which the attacker uses the Domain Name System (DNS) to discover information about a target system. This type of cyber attack can be prevented by using a virtual private network (VPN) service that encrypts traffic between your computer and the Internet. It also blocks all types of internet traffic from reaching your computer except for traffic that has been sent through the VPN service.
