The forensic procedure. The forensics method for mobile devices is similar to that of other disciplines of digital forensics, however there are some differences. Seizure, acquisition, and examination/analysis are the three basic categories in which the process can be divided.
A process model is the methodology used to conduct an investigation in digital forensics; it is a framework with a number of steps that guides an investigation. In general, process models were proposed based on existing work experience.
Acquisition, analysis, and reporting are the three steps of the procedure, which is most commonly utilised in computer and mobile forensic investigations.
1) Identification, 2) Preservation, 3) Analysis, 4) Documentation, and 5) Presentation are all steps in the digital forensics process. Disk Forensics, Network Forensics, Wireless Forensics, Database Forensics, Malware Forensics, Email Forensics, Memory Forensics, and other types of Digital Forensics exist.
Forensic science encompasses much more than fingerprints and DNA samples. The American Academy of Forensic Sciences (AAFS) recognises 11 separate forensic science disciplines to arrange the numerous expertise in the subject.
