Designing Promotional Post in CorelDRAW

In what way creation can be done. And I have also shown the value of festival posts. Like it is one day, like Happy Diwali and we can use it only once and can post it once.

But today we are going to learn about a very important post which is called a promotional post and this is important because only this information will reach your audience and customers.

So let's start the promotional post. (Pause)

 So, let's create a normal promotional post.

Then after a promotional post of five boxes which is being run on facebook as a campaign which is as per five boxes rules and in that only your content should come which we will create later on.

So let's start with how we can create a normal promotional post. Ok!

So we'll set it.

And to this also apply the same color and make it small and some left alignment. Ok!

Then here we will try that this "Laptop, Desktop" and "Repair at your doorstep" are aligned the same.

For that i have fully justified it so that it can set it perfectly.

And the font of the bottom part can be changed and we will try some other font we can use.

No, this is a little bit weird, but this is somewhat good.

We will set it similarly.

So these things got settled. Ok!

And remaining things are not important as of now.

So see these things are set but now this looks overly done and for that I have to set it.

For that I will make this person a little bit smaller.

This much is enough and we will take these particles outside as currently required. From outside we will set it differently. And we will also take this Ashok chakra outside.

Then for the remaining part we will try to set it above. Ok! So I have set this in this way. (Pause)

So these things are done. So the way we had learned the fundamentals. Ok! Like the fundamentals of parent-child.

Let's see that once.

Like this thing is different and this is different and also this one is different. Ok!

So we will correct the spacing by Shift+A.

Now, I will bring down the "Laptop, Desktop repairing and repairing at doorstep" by 10 mm.

Now this thing which is our content that should be with the Wish and for that i will bring down that by 5 mm.

So in this way they both are close to each other.

And the tagline of Laptop Desktop repairing should be closer to mobile number.

So in this way they are also closer to each other.

Now, will bring down both by 1 mm.

So now you can see that whatever was supposed to be with each other is perfectly matched.

Now we will try to set our particles so that we can get the feeling of a festival.

Always remember that whenever you set the particles and any such thing which is kept randomly but those things shouldn't be kept randomly because these things are very important and because of this we should get the niche feeling.

And the feeling of festival we will get because of this only.

And if you haven't set it perfectly then this will overlap the content and will diminish the importance of that content.

So always remember that you have to set the particles very precisely.

Like where and in what manner you are putting the particles.

Now it's about Ashok Chakra, in what way can we set the Ashok chakra.

First option is to put it here as it was earlier.

But here this person is standing and hence it's not required here.

We can put it here and that in the center of our content but this is looking a little bit weird and this is looking weird because there's no patch in behind.

So I have taken the patch. OK! And will make it larger and give the white color and shift it downward.

You can see how this looks suitable. And copied it and Grouped it.

To take this one step forward, I will try to give the drop shadow.

Once let's take the nudge of 2 mm and will make this a little bit closer.

Now you can see clearly that it looks well maintained and perfectly as we wanted to present.

Like we wanted to present "Laptop and Desktop repairing, we also wanted to present Independence Day and also Edutech and hence all these things are perfectly presented. Ok!

The look of our office is also there in the background and we can also set it but this is enough and this looks very good and we shouldn't do much to this.

So this way festival posts are created. Ok!

So friends, you should always remember that whenever you create the Festival post then don't only take the same from freepick and try to set and understand the rules as I showed and explained.

And just do not only take any pictures or logo from freepick and apply the content over it. That's it. This you don't have to do.

Only these things are not there in the festival post.

There are many other things in the festival post.

In that we have to create the concept.

When you will create the concept then only the client will give you respect and you will gain knowledge that in what way festival posts of different different businesses can be created in different manner.

You don't have to copy. You just have to take inspiration and elements from the internet but you don't have to copy. Ok!

So this thing is done.

Basically what we have to do.

We have to take one square box as usual and we have the same content "Laptop and Desktop repairing at your doorStep". And call for free diagnosis and the number is given. And these are our three benefits.

In what way we can define this in our post that we are different things.

Laptop and Desktop repairing is the main copy and anyhow we have to highlight this.

Then at bottom this is like a type of offer.

Like if you call for the first time then you will get the free diagnosis.

Then at the bottom is "why Edutech?" Ok! Like why you should choose only Edutech.

So this is also beneficial for customers.

So that also we should highlight.

So this way we have to put these three contents in our image and have to create a beautiful image by following our rules and regulations by designing it.

So the first thing is what we will do.

Like as usual we have to take our logo. I have taken the logo.

Then for the image as of now we will take this image only.

Like we want an image and we have taken this image.

After that we need background.

Like the background of the office image which we took in the festival post.

So that our background doesn't look too plain. Ok!

I will type here the background office.

We want a light and bright image, so that it will look good. (Pause)

We can choose any image from here.

We will try this one, let's see how it looks.

I will powerclip this in our box.

Then I will make it bigger, and I will apply transparency here, So that chairs and other things won’t disturb the content. And slight blur.

You have to apply transparency and blur according to your requirement and it depends upon which kind of image you have selected.

I selected this but it requires lightness so I gave some brightness to this. So that it will look light.

OK! That many things are done.

Now, I will do a power clip to this.

See I have taken this many things. Second things, I have to take our content.

We will copy our whole content from our presentation.

This one and that also.

Now we have to design or define it in the proper manner.

How can we design this or portray this?

First thing, there is a written laptop/desktop and that is our main copy.

We have to project that larger.

I pressed CTRL + A + SHIFT + F3 and U, Now it is converted to uppercase.

Fonts are very much important and it depends which kind of fonts you use.

As I taught you in a font theory, You have to take care of lots of things in font.

Like this, if you create any post then you have to use maximum two types of fonts only. You should not use more than that.

You have to maintain the size of the font.

If you select 24 sizes for any font then you have to continue with 24 only, you cannot keep 25 or 26 for other fonts.

If you are selecting a small font like 20, then you have to continue with 20 for all the other fonts.

You have to maintain it like this. Right now I'm taking Roboto black.

I will set our main copy here like this.

then “repair at your doorstep”

I kept the width the same for both of them.

That was slightly disturbing, so I made it lighter here so that our logo and content comes into focus.

OK!

This much things are done!

We placed our content and our main content.

I used a dark coffee color here as per our logo.

Then after, it is written here “call for free diagnosis”. This is an offer.

We have to represent the offer in a unique way. OK!

Let's see how we can show that.

We will find a good vector on freepik.

We will try to search a vector for a call now.

If we are able to find a vector for call now, then with use of that we are able to make good creations here.

Let's search with call, if we find any vector for call.

Everything depends upon trial and error, you have to do good R&D for everything.

We can highlight like this if we want to highlight “free”.

What usually happens, “free” it's such a thing which everyone wants.

So we have to highlight that.

Clients will not tell these things to us, we have to look out for these things by ourselves only.

We will highlight “free diagnosis”.

I made it's font different, as I told you earlier. If I increase the font size for 35 then I have to make every font to 35 size only. Ok!

I will make it 35.

I copied this and the same font.

But I will give counter to this.

We already learned the counter earlier.

I will give it a rounded corner here.

Here I will give an outsider to it and here a rounded corner.

Then if I apply it, it will get a different kind of border here, something like that.

We will get the same border, whichever color I select.

Then this Free Diagnosis will be highlighted.

Here I can do two things, either I can give this color or I can choose black color.

So at this moment, I will apply the logo color here.

This is borderline but we can use font color from here.

“Free diagnosis” is done here.

We will give black color to this. We will keep the same color to this, like that.

“Call for first free diagnosis” So we highlighted this in a unique manner.

And below that, there is our mobile number.

This is our whole patch. This is a kind of typography.

We will try to do something different for mobile numbers.

We have to keep its font size similar to other fonts and left align.

OK!

This much things are done.

In the end we will see the spacing part.

After that comes “Managing IT Services”, “Improving IT Security” and “Controlling IT cost”.

These are their benefits and we have to highlight this in a proper manner. Someone will call, but the question is, why will someone call edutech?

For that we have to show some of our benefits. because there are lots of companies, which are providing doorstop services.

So the question is “why Edutech?”

Edutech provides very good services, so that you can call edutech.

We will highlight their services.

But for that we cannot normally write it. So we have to find an icon for that.

As a designer we have to keep improving ourselves and we have to see how we can improve our design and provide better services to the client.

 “Managing IT Services”, “Improving IT Security” and “Controlling IT Cost”, We will find icons for these three things.

“Managing IT services”

We will go on a flaticon.

If we get anything related to managing services, like this one.

You have to always remember that, as I already said earlier while we were making a visiting card, if you take an outline icon then you have to select all the outline icons only.

Suppose you were taking a fill logo, then you have to select all the fill logos only.

OK!

This is done!

Another one is “improve IT security”. we will type only security and we will get that.

“IT Security Computer”

 Let's try security computers only.

This one.

You always download SVG only.

After that it comes “controlling IT cost”

we will type controlling only, it will understand automatically.

Otherwise we can save costs.

Yes. This will be the right icon for this because they provide good services within less expense.

1. We got all three icons.

We have to represent all these three services in the proper manner.

For that we will keep their font thing.

We separated all of them.

The first one is “Managing IT services”, we will keep it here in alignment to this.

Then another one is “Improve IT security”

We have to keep the height of everything the same, so I copied the height of one of them.

Then you have to ungroup it. (Pause) We made the height the same here.

Then I align to this. First I will align this. After that I will align this also.

OK!

All these three things are aligned.

Then, we arranged all three things. Now I will group it. Then SHIFT + A

I made the spacing the same.

Now I will keep these details at the end and these three things in the center.

I will make their size smaller according to our design and I have to manage the space here.

I will make all icons sizes slightly smaller.

CTRL + R and CTRL + R

SHIFT + A.

Now you can see that how I arranged all the things

But I have to arrange this as well.

So that it will be perfectly set and remains in the focus.

Let's see the font once, whether it is perfect or not.

Now I will try to slightly drag to the right side and keep our icon a little outside. Something like that.

Because our fonts should be in one line and icon as well.

But it all depends, which kind of design you do, whether it suits you or not. If it suits you then it is well enough, otherwise don’t keep it there.

In our case, it is not that much suitable, so I will align it with all the content.

OK!

This much things are done. But it seems like something is missing.

For that what we have to do? we have to look after the spacing as we have seen in the festival post.

I grouped everything here and SHIFT + A.

I made every spacing the same.

Now I will take 5 MM spacing here and make nearer to this. This is in the last.

We managed like this.

I grouped everything again then I aligned everything with our whole post.

Now it is my turn as an engineer.

How will we set this?

So that it will be merged in good manner with our image.

We have to edit this image.

OK!

Powerclip inside.

If anything seems like something is missing there, then we have to do design there.

Like I draw a box here, I will click CTRL + Q and break it and delete it from here.

Now what I will do. Here, I will add a point here by double clicking and I convert that point into a curve then click on a smooth node.

Now even if I delete this node, I will be able to manipulate this according to my choice. Something like that.

 And we fill our main color here. OK!

Now I need the same here also.

First of all I will group it temporarily.

And with a pen tool, I draw a smooth line like that.

It is a part of designing and we are doing this to decorate this.

Here I will do the white color.

Then I made it bigger.

So like this, I decorated it. And the same thing we can use somewhere else also.

OK!

That’s it.

I copied the same thing by grouping it. Then mirror and I can do top align and left align and make it smaller here.

And we can take our logo 5 MM down.

And our content is also 5 MM down.

Like this, It is completed now. (Pause)

You can see that it is better to convey design in a normal way.

Whenever you read anything like laptop desktop repairing at your doorstep, then you suddenly see the benefits of it.

After that you call the edutech and you get to know that there is free diagnosis as well.

You have to play a psychological game here, so that our client will get a good business. That is our main motto.

So whenever we make any promotional post, we have to take care of all of these things. OK!

You can create like this.

Everything comes under this, decoration is also there and we also get to know “how to play with fonts” and How we can highlight the free things. OK!

Like this we can create any normal or promotional post.

We have seen how we can portray our services through normal posts and How we can create a promotional post.
