Boxes Promotional Post Design in CorelDRAW

In the last lecture which things we have seen?

In the last lecture we saw how promotional posts can be made.

In what things are there

 We have seen all of that.

Now we have to see that we can make 5 boxes posts for the facebook cover page.

It is said that Facebook always promotes our posts with rules and regulations and boost.

So we will see how to create a 5 Boxes post for Facebook page and Facebook campaign.

So our main content is this.

Which we have taken for a normal post.

Client has said try to make max to max content.

Ok.

Create your post.

But it should be within the 5 boxes only.

Then only Facebook will accept for boosting or promoting it.

There are certain fundamentals and regulations of them so like that only we have to create the post.

So how to make that?

Lets see that.

See i have taken a box here but in that i have to create 5 boxes to this side and 5 boxes to this side.

Like this I have to create boxes.

Ok.

So first we will divide it by 5 and here also divide by 5.

Then I will take another box.

I have taken a box.

The central box which we have, we will top align that and then right align that.

We have worked on the timetable, we will follow the same process here.

I have dragged this here and then clicked on right so it is copied here.

Then CTRL+R, R, R. OK.

Same i will drag this to the downside and then right click so it is copied there and then there also R,R,R.

OK.

Let me explain to you the rules of this.

Rule is that you can take these five boxes otherwise you can take any other five boxes like these five boxes.

In these five boxes you can take any five boxes but your content should be in these five boxes only.

Their main concern is only that your content should be in these five boxes.

If your image is out of the five boxes then Facebook doesn’t have an issue in that.

But your text should be in the five boxes only that is compulsory.

You can choose the five boxes design wise.

It doesn't have any problem with that.

Just content should be in the five boxes.

We will design like that.

First we will take the image.

Then as we are seeing this as an example so i will take these both only.

I have grouped these all boxes.

And I have it to the side for a little while.

Now we will powerclip our image in the box so that it will go inside it,

So that we can design in our five boxes.

Ok.

Click on right click then powerclip.

As of now the image is above and then it will not happen.

We will take the image down then it will be done.

I will null the outlines.

So like this our image is here but it isn’t in five boxes.

Here you see in these three and these two our content can come.

Now we have to design.

Temporarily I will take this person out of this portion.

So that i will get an idea how to adjust it in such a way that our content doesn't get cut.

Ok.

I will make it a little bit bigger.

Like this.

Now if i count 1,2,3,4,5 in these our content should be filled up.

We will try to adjust in such a way that it looks beautiful and our content will also fit in this.

So majorly our content is this.

So we will copy this and paste this here.

We will take it to the side as of now.

Then first will be our logo.

Here if the logo is going a little bit outside then it is fine.

Our content is main.

Because whenever we post, everyone will know that it is edutech.

Here your font size will be small.

Ok.

It won't be the same as your previous post, it will definitely be smaller than that.

Ok.

These things are there.

Laptop desktop repairing.

And repair at your doorstep.

Our second content is this.

As of now we will make it like this.

Now our these two boxes and these boxes are occupied, for this content we have to take either this box or this box.

Right now I will take this image outside and then I will try to mix this and put it in one liner.

Maybe it can come in one liner.

In three boxes it can be set.

I will size as 20 and for this also 20.

We have broken this with CTRL+K and now we will convert it into one textbox with CTRL+L.

I will take this as one liner.

Like this.

We will make the size as 18 so that it is perfectly set up in three boxes.

See this is now set in three boxes.

Our content has also come. (Pause)

We have to decrease this size.

So these two things are important.

As we have done before managing the spacing in the post.

We will do the same here and we will manage the spacing here as well.

SHIFT+A

For a little while we'll take these boxes to the side.

Then this should be with laptop desktop repairing.

First we'll take a nudge of 2mm.

This much nearer and and this much far from that.

These things are done.

As you can see if you want to set this it will be set but it wont look good.

It will not look as good as it used to normally.

Because around here there is a lot of spacing.

So how to adjust it in such a way that all the space is filled up and it is looking good.

How we manage things and how we make it look beautiful with rules and regulations is art.

Facebook has given us some limitations.

So we have to design it nicely as a good designer.

And we will make it a little bit smaller.

So that the spacing is occupied.

For that only I have stretched this line to here.

Now understand the reason behind it.

Our main concern will be that our content should not be cut.

First we have to powerclip this box.

After that I will power clip this person, our engineer.

This thing is touching this.

Here it is looking empty.

So for that we can do something here.

We can add something at the bottom like a wave.

Like see this.

I will “ungroup to all” this.

I will take this to the side.

Now we will play with this and see how we can make it more beautiful.

It is a game of nodes, please understand it carefully once you will be experienced in it, this will be very easy for you.

I will make this line touch here. And I will try to adjust it in the same way.

Ok.

These things are done.

If you want you can do the same at the top as well.

But at the top we have to keep it smaller because there is not much requirement at the top.

Still we will check how we can keep it there.

Here I will show you with the help of colour that in which box we have taken which content.

See.

Our content is in the five boxes only.

Ok.

It is not outside of it and it is not cut at all.

Logo is a little bit outside which is normal but all the content is in these five boxes very nicely.

Our post is looking very beautiful not just with the rules and regulations but with designing.

We can add many things here.

Like we can manage the spacing we can create more designs in that.

But as of now this is enough for running our campaign.

Second thing, whenever you see this on Facebook or any site it will look very good because it’s font size is not that small.

Most people make it very small but we have to take care of the font very much.

Don’t go that much behind rules that our motive is not mentioned.

So these are the things you have to remember in five boxes for making a campaign post for Facebook.

Now we will see for Facebook, Instagram, Twitter or any social media how to make cover pages for them.

We have to create cover pages for social media in different sizes. We will see that for once.

so we will start how to make cover pages for social media.

As I have already told you the sizes for cover pages for all the sites are different.

So we have to learn how to manage data in that.

How can we manage our content and our font size ?

First will be Facebook.

In facebook cover page is of 820*620 pixels.

So first we will convert it into pixels.

Then 820 and 620.

820 and 620.

This is the cover page for Facebook.

There are different sizes for Facebook as well. We can find that on the internet.

Because this size is mostly used for mobile phones.

This is for mobile.

And the other sizes 820 and 312.

This size is used for desktops.

But majorly size is used for making a cover page.

We make a cover page on this only.

So first we will convert our units into inches.

We have converted this.

Here you can see the boxes of 2 x 1 inch only.

The resolution will be very less in this.

We have only got the proportion of this.

We only needed the dimension that this is the dimension.

So we will take a box once again and we will make it a little bit bigger.

Size is five now which is enough.

I will copy this and paste it in our sheet.

Our sheet is now done.

Now it is the turn of height.

I will click on the box then I will copy its height and then I will paste the height where the size was mentioned.

Now this is our box size.

This is done.

Now we have to design this.

We will create a design with the help of the data we have.

Client has told us that you can use this data otherwise they will provide us more.

There should not be very much data on the cover page, it should be minimal.

So what have I done? I have taken all the data here.

Now we will start designing on this.

So like always we will need a background office for this.

Background office image.

Images.

Here we can find many images. (Pause)

Select the different one so that it doesn’t look like all the backgrounds are the same.

Try to design your cover page very differently.

We will try this one.

Copy.

We can take this one as well.

Copy and then paste.

I will mirror this.

Like always we will do powerclip.

And then will go for brightness with CTRL+B.

Set the brightness.

Ok.

I have given transparency of 70% and then I will make it a little bit blur.

Gaussian blur.

Now it is a blur.

Ok.

The tone is going different from our logo so we have to change its tone.

We have to go in fracture then in adjustment and then in image adjustment from there we can give it a little bluish tone so that it matches our colour.

Now you can see it is a little bit matching.

Ok.

First we will set our logo.

Logo will come to this side.

We will make it a little bit bigger because the logo and text will be more visible in the white colour.

I have changed this for visibility.

After that comes laptop desktop repairing.

Left align.

And this is a little bit bigger.

Whenever someone opens the cover page, his first capture will be this.

And below that will be our mobile number and free diagnosis.

We will make that bigger as well.

We can do something different here.

I have coloured the laptop desktop.

I will convert this door step into Z Black.

In the colour palette this last corner is a Z Black by converting it into RGB.

I have converted this into Z Black.

Ok.

These things are set.

Now how will we manage this content and the spacing.

To manage that we will need more images.

We already have an image of a person but we will need one more.

So for that I have already cut an image.

Like this is such a lady who is frustrated in her office because of the PC.

She’s angry because her PC is getting stopped again and again.

Then our person will come and repair it.

So we have to portray this concept in our image.

Our whole data is here on the Facebook cover page.

Now we just have to set it. Ok.

If you will do this in this way you will never be confused about what you have to do.

First I will say this lady here by making it a little bit smaller.

But we cannot keep this lady like this. We will have to add some waves below.

We will use the waves which we already have.

Here I will press on B which means bottom alignment.

Then I will stretch this from both of the sides.

And then I will make its line very thin so that it won’t disturb.

This is done.

We will try to adjust this.

I will delete this line for now.

I will left align this.

And here I will add one more point and try to adjust just like this.

I will break it here.

Okay. (Pause)

You always have to remember whatever you do, it should look smooth.

it shouldn’t look like it is cut from anywhere, it looks very weird.

whenever you do any cut or you make something it should not look that it is cut it looks very weird.

We have to adjust things.

See here it is a little bit cut so we have to adjust it by doing anything like we can make this wave bigger and hide it.

there should be nothing which seems like it is cut from anywhere.

Now this is looking a little bit disturbing to me see this is a cut here our desktop is also not looking proper.

Now I will copy this image and I will take it a little bit above.

Now I just need this much part.

This part should go behind now. I will open its nodes and I will add nodes to it.

The second node will be here and like this.

I am trying to cut the keyboard.

You can do this in Photoshop as well.

But I am doing it here so that you can understand how to do the shortcuts.

And now I will adjust this.

It is in round shape now.

Now my keyboard is cut as I wanted.

Now I will take this lady behind very nicely.

Keyboard is done till here.

You will learn with experience how to cut this.

Okay.

Now you can see our keyboard and desktop is only at the top and the lady is completely behind it.

Now you have seen how I cut this.

Ok.

Now I will not keep the line here because if I keep it it will go above the lady and it will look very weird.

So I will plus(+) it again.

I will take it up a little bit.

I will colour it and let it go behind.

Like this.

Now I will adjust the colour.

We can do white colour as well but it is looking weird so we will take a greyish tone.

Like this.

See this is a very minor image but it is very impactful.

Now it is the turn of this man.

How we will adjust him here.

We will mirror him and then keep it in the centre.

After that we will open its notes and try to hide his legs.

Now we have to adjust our pending content here.

Now we will try to highlight it here with this.

But to highlight only content is not enough we will need to add something more.

First we will group this all.

This is done and this is also done.

Okay.

Now what will I do? I will take a patch like this and will make it white colour.

Always remember that the black arrow which is on the right side should be at the end whenever we try to do transparency.

Then only it will fade this much.

If you will keep it after that then the faded portion will look cut from here.

This cut should never be seen.

Always keep it at the end like this.

You can see it is getting faded perfectly.

This was my motto.

I will make it a little bit bigger.

It should go behind the person.

We will adjust this or later.

We will also take our content to the upside.

Ok.

Second here.

We will align this as well.

Third will be here.

We will take the content to the upside and align it.

Now we will group this all with patches.

And then SHIFT+A to all.

So that the spacing will be perfect.

And we will take this person a little bit up so that it looks like this.

Any patch should never look weird.

Whenever you design anything there shouldn’t be something which looks like it is cut.

here this first page is looking a little bit cut so I will adjust it from here.

Now this is also adjusted.

Now we will group this all and with CTRL+PAGEDOWN we will bring it a little bit below and adjust it.

Now we will make this lady a little bit smaller because it is touching our content.

That’s why I have made it smaller.

We will make our batch smaller as well.

Because it is not necessary to keep it this big.

We have already made our lady smaller.

We have made the logo a little bit smaller and then, Left align.

And we will bring laptop and desktop repairs a little bit near the logo.

And we will make that smaller as well.

Something like this.

And the tagline one-stop solution for all your IT needs we will type that in uppercase and in very thin font we can keep that in centre as well or otherwise we will keep it here at the side.

It is not looking good in the centre so we will keep it here at the side.

Ok.

Like this I have done the entire set up.

As you can see, whenever anyone opens our cover page for Facebook his first I will be on laptop desktop repair at your desktop doorstep for that we have to call here and these are its benefits.

If someone first saw the image he will look at the image at the first like this our entire concept is fulfilled now.

Facebook cover pages done now we will see after that which social media comes.

After that comes Instagram for which sizes are 420 x 654 pixels.

Basically cover pages are not used that much in this.

420*654.

Cover page is not used that much on Instagram so we will skip it.

Next will be Twitter.

For Twitter cover page size is 1500*500 pixels.

As we can see its height is very less.

And width is very much.

We will copy this and keep it here but we will adjust this.

See the thing will be the same, design will be the same but now I will teach you how to adjust this fastly like we have to make so many cover pages so how can we do that speedily.

Ok.

We will convert this to one more design.

I have taken a background for this and I will power clip that.

Ok.

Now I will nullify it’s outline.

And I will make its logo and content a little bit smaller.

And I will decrease the person’s height as well.

It should never touch the outline.

Always remember these little things.

At the portion below where our Lady and the patch is, I will make it according to our size.

Like this and centralized and then bottom align.

Same here as well and then again bottom align.

I will try to adjust this lady more.

Like this.

Ok.

So our Twitter cover page is ready.

We haven’t done anything, we have just adjusted it.

After that comes LinkedIn.

It’s size is 1584*396 pixels.

Ok.

This is the size of LinkedIn.

It is very thin and that.

So we will copy this also.

And we will try to adjust it here.

So first we will powerclip the background.

Make it a little bit bigger.

Now one by one I will group the patch and then put it here.

And I will bottom align the background patch as well.

I have made this little bit broader.

Now we have to make them smaller.

Because we have very little space.

Because of that we will try to make the entire patch a little bit smaller.

So that the portion where we have set the lady is not disturbed.

Like this.

Then a person will come.

We will make that smaller as well.

And we will power clip that.

We have to make this content smaller as well.

Like this.

But we have more space so we can adjust the free diagnosis here.

And we will make this content a little bit bigger so that any eye will catch it soon.

After that, this.

We will take the person to the left side so that it won’t disturb our content.

You can see that this is looking very well designed.

Ok.

After that is Pinterest.

That is not much use.

But its size is different. It is for mobile. We will have to see a size for the desktop.

So it’s desktop size is 728 x 90 pixels.

Most of the time for social media we have to take a desktop size in that there won’t be much content, it will only be our main content.

We will try to take any one image.

Because we cannot add more content and even if we add it it won’t be meaningful.

It would look very small.

First we will take the background.

This is our background we will right click and then power clip.

I have added background here.

After that comes the logo at one side.

like this and then our tagline.

we can add one image here like this by making it small.

I will have to power clip that as well.

Like that.

We can add the patch below just a normal one.

Not any curve or something.

Like this.

Any things are looking weird so that will help to adjust them.ok.

Like this.

And we will delete the rest of it.

Here you can see how we have created posts for Facebook and other social media.

First we have created a normal post.

We have made festival posts and promotional posts.

We have also referred to how to create a post by following the rules and regulations.

We have made cover pages for Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn and for Behance as well.

Now what you have to do is whichever logo you have created, you have to create our pages by following that content or the designs you have made for stationery or for logo.

You have to make as many others as I need for Facebook, LinkedIn, Behance and this Twitter so just you have to make an assignment.
