When To Use Each Chart Or Graph Type In Excel Spread Sheet

Visual representations of spreadsheet data are charts and graphs. These images aid in the comprehension of worksheet data by highlighting patterns and trends that are difficult to spot in the data. Experimenting with the many charts in Excel is the greatest method to learn about them.

The term "chart" is commonly used to refer to any graphical depiction of data. The term "graph" refers to a graph that plots data in two dimensions, as shown in figure 1.

The most common chart type is the column chart. When specific values are significant, this chart is best used to compare them, and users are required to look up and compare individual values in each column.
