How To Use MMM Formula In Excel Spread Sheet

  • Select the Number option from the drop-down menu.
  • From the Category drop-down menu, choose Custom.
  • In the Type input box, type mmmm.
  • Select OK from the drop-down menu.

Generic formula. =TEXT(date,"mmmm") You can use the TEXT function with a custom number format to retrieve the month name (i.e. January, February, March, etc.) from a date as text.

The MMM Formula is a formula that can be used in Excel to calculate the net present value of an investment. The formula takes into account the current value, future cash flows, and the time period for which these cash flows will occur.
