Data analysis is the act of getting raw data and then translating it into information that consumers can use to make decisions. To answer questions, test hypotheses, or disprove theories, data is collected and examined.
The process of systematically applying statistical and/or logical approaches to explain and demonstrate, condense and recap, and assess data is known as data analysis.
Simply put, data analytics is important to the success of modern firms since data analysts are in charge of examining key performance measures, interpreting that data, and determining an effective strategy for improving organisational performance.
For data analysis, Excel is insufficient. If you only need to conduct simple activities like percentages and distributions, Excel spreadsheets may be sufficient. If you want to go beyond the basics, though, Excel will not suffice. Excel may be a bit risky to rely for advanced analyses.
