Select the chart and move to the Excel ribbon's Chart Tools sections (Design and Format). Right-click the chart element you want to change and select the appropriate option from the context menu. When you click on your Excel graph, the chart customization buttons show in the top right corner.
Select the chart element you want to format in your chart by clicking it. Do one of the following on the Format tab under Chart Tools: To give the chart element a new fill colour, a gradient, a photo, or a texture, click Shape Fill.
A chart can be formatted using the Home tab of the ribbon's formatting commands. You must utilise the Number section of the Format Data Labels dialogue box to modify the number format for a data label. The Number format commands are not available in the Home tab of the ribbon.
A proper formatting strategy makes it easier to locate significance in a spreadsheet without having to go through each and every cell. Cells with good formatting will instantly direct your attention to the key cells.
