Transform and Brush Preset in Photoshop

If you want to rotate this object, then press ctrl T, which means free transform.

After free transform, as we will go near to the point, this type of symbol will arise.

As soon as you get such symbol, click the mouse and drag and you can rotate the object in this way.

With this it is also displaying the degrees on which we are rotating.

After rotating, press enter.

As you will press enter, your free transform will come to an end.

I will do control Z.

Basically free transform, which means through ctrl T, you can move, rotate and scale any object.

With addition to free transform, here below one more option is given that we will call as ‘transform’.

Now, what happens with transform? As you saw in free transform that you can scale, move and rotate any object.

 Here it has scale and rotate but with addition through transform you can skew, distort, perspective and wrap as well.

What all these things are, lets understand.

With skew, if you want to tilt a object little but so you can.

See as am going over it, my sign is changed.

I will move this ahead little bit, see my object is tilted little bit.

I will move backwards, see in this way if you wish to tilt your object a little, you can.

Which means to skew, see in this way am skewing it vertically.

You can skew vertically.

Enter, so transform will come to an end

Again edit > transform > distort

What can you do with distort?

As i will click on this, see as i go there, this new symbol arises.

Now you have to stretch this in one angle, want to make bigger or smaller but in one angle.

So you can do it.

It is stretching your full object.

Control Z.

After that in edit, here is one more option, perspective.

What is this perspective now? We will turn the perspective on.

Then see i am dragging this point downward.

See as i will drag this point, lower point will also get drag towards that side.

Two points are dragging together.

See, am dragging this point inside

 which means if I have to tilt any object. like, this way then we will use perspective.

the benefit of perspective is, when you move one point, the point opposite to that one, will also move in this way.

 control Z.

there is one more option in transform, warp.

let's see, what is this warp?

 See I have turn the warp on.

 as I have turned the warp on, you can see some lines are added.

 these lines are not here until now

see I am clicking and dragging this point.

 See in this way, car will get stretched upside.

Are you able to see?

I have also increased the top and taking. it little upside and taking this little backside.

From which, the shape of car is changed.

Now, see this front point of warp, i am stretching it.

See the shape of car changing.

See car has gone inside in this way.

So in this way we can change the shape of any object.

See i am stretching the point backside, car is getting longer.

Enter !

Which means, you can change the shape of any object in this way through warp tool.

Now in edit > transform > one more option is there, rotate 180 degree

Which means, this will rotate your object at 180 degrees in this way, upside down.

With that if you want to rotate 90 degree clockwise, so you can rotate clockwise.

If you want to rotate 90 degrees counterclockwise, you can rotate this counterclockwise.

If you want to flip the object which means, if you want to mirror the object but horizontally.

So this will get horizontally mirrored.

If you mirror it vertically, then you can mirror it vertically as well in this way.

Now, we will learn in edit, ‘define brush preset’.

What is this?

If you want to add any shape in library of brush, then this used.

For example, i am making here one shape, lets add something more

So this is my shape made.

I will press control here and select layer

As i will select, my drawn are will be selected.

Now in edit > define brush preset.

As we will do this, it will ask us if we want to make this as a sample brush?

We will press okay.

As we will press okay, this will go into library of brush.

Now after taking new layer, we will turn the brush tool on from here.

You will see in the library of brush tool, at the last option, drawing that you made now is added.

You brush is turned into that shape.

Now, you can use this as a brush in this way.
