Hello friends, welcome to learnvern.
like we learned in the last topic, To design the mock up, there's a mock up, where we have pre-made elements by using that, how we can design it,
for our client that is what we learned.
Then, for designing the poster, we made an A4 size poster.
I hope you people have practiced what we learned in the last topic.
After that we saw the designs of the batches, which we put on t-shirts, books and school bags.
We learned how to design that.
So today's topic is Infographic and patterned backgrounds.
infographic means, like you have a business and its info which is sent to our clients or publishers by using graphic elements to let them know what we do and what we can do.
why we use patterned background because, like you have an image whose background is filthy.
you want studio photography type effect , then you can use the patterned background
then if you have a product and you've clicked the photo of it, so you can use the patterned background on that too and you can publish it.
So we will see this today. Let's go to photoshop to complete our first topic, infographic design.
I will choose here inforgrapgic's size, A4 size would be fine, you can make that of any size.
because there is no perfect measurement of this.
so we will make A4 size and we will put millimeters.
and our resolution will be 300 so we can get good quality.
Usually, when we are making an infographic , visiting card or logo ; we should make it in illustrator.
because their size is gonna increase so it will not tear in that because it remains a vector.
so we can increase and decrease the size and we can take it anywhere and tint it.
but the one we will make in photoshop ,if we increase or decrease the size then it will get pixalate.
we can design and use it, we'll make A4 size and in that size it will get printed then it will look good.
But if we make it in A4 size but printing in A6 or A2 size then it will look very filthy and it will look like pixalate.
it is better you design in the size, in which you want to print it.
Also by keeping more resolution will get you better quality.
and our color mode will be RGB because we will add colors in it like red , green or blue whatever colors are there we'll add it.
When is CMYK used ?
When the image is black and white and colors like shaan ,mageta ,and yellow are going to be used more.
or when we will go to print and in the printer, colors are not available, just black and white are available.
so by using CMYK we can do this , we will keep 8 bit only and the background color is gonna be white.
So I am creating it and it is made.
I have one image , we will use that as a reference. I have downloaded this from the internet.
today we will make this type of infographic but this more likely landscape type.
and we can make it in portrait and landscape both.
so i will put the landscape and something like this will occur.
but ours is smaller , look at this size 7001 - 4001 and our size is 3508-2480.
you have to make it in this size only and you can copy it.
from here you will copy and paste it , so it will get ready in the same size.
It will be made in the same size, so 7001-4001 , so now it is ready to be the same size.
First of all , we have a circle and upon that there is white stroke and inside there is a sort of violet color.
what we'll do is make a circle first, how will we make this ? we'll make it from ellipse tool
I pressed alt + shift , so I'll get a perfect circle.
the circle is made and now I will take dark blue, we'll make a bit different than them.
and what stroke's color instead of white color we can take red and we will little bit increase it
or what else you can do is , by double clicking over here you can choose any color or you can use the gradient.
you people can use the texture also, if you click from here then you will get more and better colors.
you can take gray type color then you will double click on it here.
then you people will get more colors, you can choose the color of your choice.
see? if i take white then it will not be recognisable that we have white color.
After that we have this bigger circle and it has dotted lines.
so how we will design it. Again we will take an elliptical tool and from the center we will press Alt + Ctrl + Shift.
we will increase the size after increasing, we'll close the fill then going to stroke
and after going to stroke , we will get the dotted lines and from the dotted lines we'll give the black color.
so we will get this but over you're getting many options as you can see.
here it will be inside of the lines from this it will be in the middle and from this it will be outside the line.
So what kind of type do we want? it depends on that, so if we will take this from here then it will get curvy from both the sizes.
if we do it from then it will be curvy, so you have to see what types you want.
in this dotted line you won't see any effects of this that's why.
if you click here you're two choices you can use anyone, so we'll make a different one than them.
so we will put this one , you can make changes from here that how many dashes you want?
i am changing it to 5 from 4 , lets see what kind of effects we are getting.
and if we are pressing 6,8,9 then what effects we are getting, now let's put 10.
so the size of it increases, changing it to 10,15 ,16,20 and you can increase the gap.
that how much is gonna be there between them, if you want more dashes then you have to decrease it from here.
then you will get more dashes, see ?
The gap is too much so you'll get this effect, so now this is done.
We'll take this from the middle ,so this design is also done.
Over here it comes business infographic elements, you can add your own logo or if you have some text or something you can add that also.
As of now , well put that in text , how will we put text ?
we will draw like this, so we will get the text ? we have got the text.
so let's reduce the size of it and change the color into white.
so we'll decrease the size a little bit, so over here we have got the text.
here you can write whatever you want about yourself or elements.
after you people will make 2 tiny circles.
so this is our first circle and we'll red the first one.
and to the other circle we'll give a sort of green color, we'll give a bit of dark green.
so it could look nice and the third will be a kind of yellow color, we'll take a lighter color.
so this is done , we'll place it manually and nicely so it can look good in the gaps.
After that we will take our line tool or you can also take the pen tool.
What will happen with the pen tool is you can draw the line perfectly.
so this is done and from this we will pick shape and close the fill and to stroke we will give black color.
we will increase the size of our stroke and we will dotted this.
Then you can also take this polygonal lasso tool.
let's do it from pen tool only and firstly to this we'll choose shape and fill will be closed and stroke will be black.
we will delete this and give the old color to this one.
pen tool , if you want you can also give this in other shapes like curve to curve or straight.
let's close the fill of this and increase the stroke a little bit.
If you want this kind of thing then you can take it but it won't look good.
so you take like this and do this , so our design will be done.
So after completing the design you can paste this design here or you can make a design of your own.
so it will be something like this but we don't want it like this we want something like this ,we will delete this.
First of all , we will take a pen tool and after taking a pen tool we will stretch it straight.
we are gonna turn off its stroke and increase the stroke.
So after that again we will take a pen tool and our stroke is completed and by stroke we will increase the stroke we want.
so this is also completed, after that for doing here again we will close this.
selection is done from here ,we don't need the fill so we'll close it and increase the stroke.
you people can do it as you like, i am just telling you to show that you can do the design like this.
you can also increase the size also so that it can match here perfectly.
if you aren't able to match it then you can do it by putting a ruler here , like this.
so our this is matched and from here again we will do the selection.
and from here we will take the direct selection tool so from there we will get a point.
and from that point we will match this point, then it will be matched perfectly that three of them are matched properly.
then we want this rounded, then we'll get the rounded.
So how will we design that? From here we have a rounded rectangle tool.
so you can take this type of effect from it.
I have made this, here you will get how much rounded you want
if you put 60 over here then it will be 60 everywhere.
i am putting 150 and from here also if you want dotted line then you can get this
but we will put this in color only, what color is there ? its pink type color.
What happens in infographics is the more color you add the more good it will look as in looks and understanding.
it should be appreciated by the other person who is looking.
so it's done, we'll just make it touch.
so it is done , by copying this only we will put this in lower to this.
After copying it we'll put them lower and change the color.
from here you can change the color, let's give blue color to it.
and give this red color, so let's change the color of it.
we will put this one, over here it is a yellow color then you can pick yellow color also and below this it is light green sort of color.
or there is one thing we can match it, we can match these colors only.
lets match them, the color we picked from here select that.
we'll be here and it's a pink color we'll change to red color, then we will come here.
lets again select this and go there so we'll get this color and by that we will give green color to it
then again we'll go to selection mode and select this color and take rectangular rounded tool
and match our yellow color to it.
after we will make one more circle in which more information will come.
to make a perfect circle i am clicking with shift + alt.
from here i will turn off the fill and in stroke give some stroke to it.
and to this , we'll match it under this and then select it by going in layers and match it.
our color is already filled in this so let's fill this also.
we will fill this with red color and close our stroke and this is also done.
by copying this , we'll put it here and go to a rounded tool.
and give green color to this and on the uperside make it match properly.
so it won't look bad and by copying this if you press shift and do it then it will come at the same place as where it was.
and we will match this also with the color, so now some space is left out.
What will we do to fill that space? We'll take a rectangle tool , to thi from here we'll make a rectangle.
we'll put white color only, we will not give strokes and instead of white just to give paper look we can give grayish tone.
double click on the layers then you will get the effect of shadow here inner shadow outer shadow.
so this is a drop shadow , we will click on that and change the position of the shadow.
so here we needed a shadow then we will normal the multiply place and to opacity it will be in a small amount nearly 28.
and increase the distance , increase the speed in negligible only and decrease the amount of size.
so it won't be visible like we have applied it and this done.
we will copy it below , so the same effect is gonna be there and over here you can add your own infographic.
If you do like this ,then an infographic will be added.
if you bigger the size and put it like this then you will get info there was.
then you can pick the color as you want which is readable like that.
so i have put it like this and we will copy it and paste it below.
Here whatever our symbols are you can add this symbol , this symboland this symbol .
you can add this type of and over here something is missing, so we have to use whatever we have .
to this do like this, lets turn off this and increase this and select rounded this
by copying this pressing ctrl J.
click on layer press ctrl + J and we will put that below press ctrl + J, press ctrl + J
so this has become an infographic setup, which we can keep it like this.
how over here it done by putting some effects , we do that type of
means over here we have to and here is effect this one you can take this in illustrator
and if you want in this only then double click on it and then you will get the option of drop shadow .
full the opacity and you have to set the distance manually to see which shadow is looking nice.
so i double clicked on it and then okay it, turn on drop shadow.
we will take the same effect here also , did double clicking turn on drop shadow
clicked double on this, okay.
and this only we will press ctrl + J and after pressing we'll smaller the size and then after changing the color.
We'll give white color , so we can get the fill we want.
we'll do the same thing with this also, why didn't it see us ?
because we have to put green upon this, so it will look.
Can you see it?
we'll do the same thing with this also and we have to put this above also, so we can see
so our infographic is completed.
the feel we want , we will turn that on and also want a paper look.
so we can give this in the background , if you have pattern or something you can give that
so your infographic is ready.
so we will save this in our computer.
infographic psd file , saved.
save , save on your computer.
so our infographic is done, something like this you can do.
So let's meet in our next topic.
I hope you understood what I told you..
