Filter Tutorial Part-1 For Adobe Photoshop

In filter section, there is an option of liquify. Let’s see its tool in detail.

First is forward warp tool. This tool pushes the pixels of an image forward as you drag. Here, you can see in video how it works. Now to remove this effect, reconstruct tool is used. It erases the forward warp’s effect.

Pucker tool moves pixels toward the center of the brush area as you hold down the mouse button or drag. Bloat tool is completely opposite of Pucker. Bloat moves pixels away from the center of the brush area as you hold down the mouse button or drag.

Push left tool pushes the pixels in left side.

Apart from this, another option is blur. In blur, there are more different types of blur listed. Each of them is explained in video. Motion blur, radial blur, shape blur, smart blur are demonstrated in video. Blur gallery quickly give distinct photographic blur effects with manual on-image controls.

Field Blur basically enables you to add depth of field to flat images, and build a gradient of blurs using multiple blur points with different amounts of blur. Iris Blur creates a blur that radiates from the center in all directions. In center, picture will remain same. Tilt shift is similar to iris but it works linearly.

After blur gallery, there is distort tool in filter. In that, many more options are available like pinch, polar coordinates, ripple, shear, spherize, twirl, wave, zigzag etc. Every effect is explained in video.

Using noise tool, you can add uniform or Gaussian noise to image. Also you can change the amount of noise.
