Mockups Designing in Photoshop

In Today's topic ,we will design mockups.

After that we will design a poster and will design badges.

So what is the meaning of mockup ?

First of all, a mockup means that you already have a design ready.

Suppose You are doing a job as a graphic designer, you have designed a visiting card , poster, etc.

Meaning you've already designed for your previous client.

So we will redesign the same design and submit it to other clients.

we will call it mockup,

The meaning of mockup is this, whatever you have, redesign it and submit to the client.

It means to use what was already designed.

Then we will learn to make posters and badges.

What is the meaning of badges?

 We put on bags and t-shirts, so we will learn how to design that today.

So let's go to Photoshop. I have come to Photoshop.

So let's start.

First of all, I have downloaded this laptop screen from the Internet.

You'll find it in the research folder.

So what we will do first of all, on the screen of our laptop, we are going to add the information of our website.

So first I went to my website and I took a screenshot of it.

The screenshot was something like this.

I took a screenshot of this type.

After that I combined that screenshot with this file.

Now we will rasterize it.

After we convert it to Smart Object, we can enlarge it by pressing Ctrl +T.

So that match should be perfect. In this way we will enlarge it.

 And we will crop the above one a little.

So the blue part that we have, the same will be visible on the screen.

So I deleted it now.

And here I crop it till this part.

So this is our screen cut out.

So copy it and take it to our laptop's screen.

 Will do this in a smart object because if you enlarge it, then this photo should not be unclear.

and I've enlarged the screen.

Then click on ok.

With that we will do a clipping mask.

which will be with the screen.

Let's clipping mask this with this.

And make it a little smaller.

So that it comes well.

And then convert to a smart object that we did, close it.

Now we'll click ctrl+T.

We have to do this a little manually.

So it should be set perfectly in that.

Because the screen we have is the screen of the computer but the screen it has is the screen of the laptop.

So because of that we have to set it up a little manually.

You guys can take a computer screen instead of a laptop here. if you have a computer then. Or else you guys can do one thing. Here we will take a pen tool, or a polygonal lasso tool can also be taken. And we will make a square here.

That it should take the selection in that part only.

Now we will cut the layer wire.

We will do a clipping mask to it.

After that if you make it bigger now, it'll remain in that part only.

This is done, with this we make it a clipping mask.

so it will take the same part as we took in the previous part.

So to do it perfectly we'll do it one more time.

We'll use pen tool to do it perfectly.

We'll do the selection using ctrl plus enter.

Now I pressed ctrl + enter.

So We'll fill white color by right clicking it.

After turning it on we will do a clipping mask with it.

Let's make it bigger.

So We'll make it bigger till here and from here also we'll make it bigger in this way.

And we will make it bigger this way .

But what will happen with this is this will look very bad because our computer screen remains wide and the screen of the laptop is a bit smaller.

We cannot match it.

So that's why we have used white color here.

After this you can use gradients also.

I showed you that thing to make you understand that you cannot set it like this anything.

That's why I showed you .

After using gradients you can design your website.

I'm showing you an example. From here to there Your part was blue in color, so you can do it by filling in the blue color also.

We have filled blue in this way. And then filled the other color. and we can create designs for learnvern .

So There are many ways.

I have one more sample. I will share that with you guys.

you guys can put your logo here.

Or else let's do one thing on this, for now. 

Make it a little bigger from here and fill it with white color.

I have another screen, in which I have opened my website.

So by looking from there, I am adding text and all.

Also you keep your reference open.

I've added this text here and will shorten it now.

So it sets in that much part.

You can use any font you like.

I am showing you using this font as an example.

You will find many fonts on fonts on Hundred fonts.com or fonts.com.

Which you can use for your project.

So I am typing by looking from my other screen. Whatever is Text and all.

So now we will make this font a little bigger too.

this font will also remain white.

Let's change the font.

So you people get to know.

We will keep it simple.

We don't need any fancy fonts.

So we can use this.

We can change its font too

So let's keep this one.

Our logo is a little bigger so we will make it bigger too.

And change its font also.

And the text is too small, make it bigger too.

After that we will make a small square.

And we fill white color.

I am just showing you this as an example.

that you guys can also do something like this.

I am not making it. I am just showing you one example.

By changing the color of this ‘enter course name’, make the fonts a little bit smaller.

So it looks like it's on the inner part.

And here we will make one more small box, fill the color in it of such type.

put it in a new layer.

So we don't face any problem.

We can change the color anytime and fill it.

After this, we will add the text of ‘search’.

Let's color it white..so it is easily readable to us.

We capitalize all its fonts.

Bring this to the middle.

You can also reduce its opacity.

So what will happen with this, there will be a feel of something exists inside

It means the depth we should get, we will get that depth .

In this way you can add your mock up.

I told you this in a very fast way that you can design in this way.

We can do it more in a proper way.

like , Next we are going to design the page of Instagram.

 Lets see that.

I am opening my second project,

I downloaded the font, I have added shadow in it.

I hope you guys know how to add shadow.

In that you will get to know how to use photoshop, you will get the basic knowledge of photoshop . all the tools are explained in it.

So i hope whoever is watching our tutorials of photoshop, you have all the knowledge of Photoshop.

So what i did was, first of all i took the screen of the phone, after taking the screen, I added a little groutiness to it and added the background as well.

So it's done. After that I will add screenshots.

I have these screenshots which I clicked. What you can do is, If you do not want to use screenshots, then you can design the same. .

What I have done here is.

I have already set all the designs here.

Today we will see how we can set these designs.

So first of all we will try this one.

We will take the pen tool.

You don't have to do anything, just take a screenshot.

 polygonal lasso tool.

After this part is cut then you can add it.

To show you this, I am doing it at a little speed.

You all do it precisely, so my selection is made.

All you have to do is fill the color in it.

To fill the color, first I will select the color, which color is needed at which place.

Like I want this color over here.

So after taking the color, I will fill it in.

So I am done with this selection and let's add another selection to it.

so this will lead to different different parts.

For now, we keep it like this and fill our color first.

So this is filled, let's turn off the opacity.

What will happen with this, we will know which color is needed at which place?

I'm pressing ctrl+z.

The color which i had selected, in that place we will take this color.

Let’s fill that color.

And we will down/ reduce opacity.

the selection which was taken by pressing ctrl D,we will turn it off.

And take a new selection.

From here till the bottom which is white color.

So I have taken this white color.

And here we will create a new layer.

And fill the color and ctrl+D.

And hold both the layers and press the ctrl+E .

so what will happen with this our design is ready.

And you will get the logo of Instagram and the name of Instagram online.

Here you guys can type as a text ‘10:30’.

After this you also get this logo.

Here you have to write your name and the small objects which are here, you can design it with the help of Pentool.

like I did.

We will zoom it to the extreme and take points from here to here with a pen tool.

Then by pressing alt from here, take another point.

Take this point from here and take it inwards by alt.

So what will happen with this is, the shape we want, we will get the shape properly.

We have got this shape.

By pressing alt we will make it smaller.

So by selecting our last point here, we will give it shape.

We have got this shape and you can fill the color in it by pressing ctrl + enter.

Or else go to the path > work path > make it a path.

after making it a path you can give it a stroke.

I hope you guys know what stroke means?

So this is your stroke's option. And you will also get the option of fill.

Like this way you have to add strokes.

You have to do the same thing on this also.

For this you can take the pen tool option or a circle also.

After choosing a circle , I'll show you how you can do it.

I have taken this elliptical marquee tool.

From the middle, by pressing alt, taking it to the middle, give it a stroke.

After giving it a stroke then we will shape it manually.

That this much part has to be minused from here and this much part has to be added from here.

After giving that, it will get designed.

You will get All these options online on symbolflaticon.com.

You can take a screenshot of this.

By the way, all these things will be designed.

So this is known as mockup.

I have designed it already. To explain it to you . So I told you everything.

See all these you will get online, represent that you upload or post photos and all online on instagram.

What you can do is, keep this much part selected so what will happen with that is whenever you wish to edit any image, simply you can do it here by drag and drop.

So i have made it already and I'll double click on it then i will get the selection.

This much part is my selection and that thing will come only in this much part.

If I double click here then I'll get all options.

See I have added text and added small things here.

I didn't add any posts here.

So simply I have made a design and added to it.

If you will take away the design from here and press ctrl +s .

Then that design will be removed from here.

For a youtube promotion or anything, suppose you have completed five millions followers, you can make five million here and show it to your friends.

You can launch anything in your videos, for all those things mockups are used.

So I'm saving it.
