Clone Stamp and Pattern Stamp Tool in Photoshop

Clone Stamp And Pattern Stamp In Adobe Photoshop

Clone stamp tool : The clone stamp tool is used to sample pixels from one part of the image to paint in another part. With the Clone Stamp tool selected, position the cursor over the area you want to clone and then Alt-click to define the clone source. Position the cursor over the area where you want to paint the cloned pixels and then start painting.

Also it is used to duplicate object with less transparency. For that, you have to reduce opacity as shown in video.

Pattern stamp tool : When you want to add patterns on object, this tool is used. As shown in example, you can create your own pattern, too. Open a new file, and draw with your pattern. You can use pattern library for more designs.

The Pattern Stamp tool paints with a pattern defined from your image, another image, or a preset pattern. You can choose as per requirements, and use it in your projects.
