By previewing your worksheet before printing, you can avoid unexpected outcomes and wasted paper. You can see a preview of how the data will appear on the printed when you pick one or more sheets and then click File > Print. Choose the worksheet(s) you'd like to see.
Then, on the Page Layout tab, select Breaks from the drop-down arrow. "Insert Page Break" is the option. You can also right-click and select "Insert Page Break." With its solid blue line, you'll notice the break display.
Normal View—This view displays worksheet cells in their default state. Page Break Preview—The page breaks are drawn in blue in this mode. In the Page Break preview, you can really drag the page breaks to new locations. This option has been present in Excel for various editions.
A page break, sometimes known as a hard page break, is a code introduced by a software programme (for example, a word processor) that tells the printer where to stop printing on the current page and start printing on the next. A symbol representing the Page Break appears after adding the Page Break, and the pointer is moved to the next page.
Select the row below where you want the break to appear to insert a horizontal page break. Then, on the Page Layout tab, select Breaks from the drop-down arrow. "Insert Page Break" is the option. You can also right-click and select "Insert Page Break."
