To select all of the cells on the sheet, use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl + A. Format cells by right-clicking. Uncheck the Locked option on the Protection tab and click Ok. Select only the cells, columns, or rows that you want to keep safe.
Firstly, open your Excel worksheet.
After that, select "Review."
Finally, select "Protect Workbook."
Enter a password of your choice now.
Finally, select "OK."
To enter the Format Cells dialogue box, select the cells you want to safeguard their formatting but only allow data entry in, then hit Ctrl + 1 at the same time.
Uncheck the Locked box under the Protection tab in the Format Cells dialogue box, then click the OK button.
