Columns are created by the "grid-template-columns" property and can have any number of columns. The default is 12 columns, but it can be adjusted to have more or less.
The rows and columns can be adjusted in Excel. This is done by dragging the corners of the grid to resize it.
Excel allows you to freeze columns and rows.
Select the row beneath the one or more rows you want to freeze (select row 6, if you want to freeze rows 1 to 5).
Click Freeze Panes > Freeze Panes on the View tab.
The following are some of the advantages of adjusting rows and columns in MS Excel:
You can merge cells together to form one large cell.
You can move data from one row or column to another by dragging the cursor.
You can turn off or on certain rows or columns.
You can change the size of a column or row with just one click.
