Microsoft Excel allows you to freeze all rows and columns at the same time, in addition to freezing columns and rows separately. This is how: Choose a cell to freeze below the last row and to the right of the last column. Click Freeze Panes > Freeze Panes on the View tab.
Click the Freeze Panes command, then pick Unfreeze Panes from the drop-down menu to unfreeze rows or columns.
Open Excel in protected mode.

Make that Excel isn't being used by another programme.
