After computing the subtotals for each group, insert the formula =SUBTOTAL(9,B2:B21) into a cell you need, then press Enter to get the grand total that removes the subtotals automatically.
When displaying a Total row in an Excel Table, the SUBTOTAL function is used. Excel automatically inserts the SUBTOTAL function, and you can change the behaviour by selecting from a drop-down option.
Select the Subtotal button from the Data tab of the Outline group.
A Subtotal dialogue box will popup, providing you options for how the subtotals should be shown.
The subtotals for each computer brand will appear in a new row very instantaneously.
Press the AutoSum button or the Alt+= keyboard shortcut. In the cell, the SUBTOTAL formula will be automatically added. Enter the code.
