On the Editing tab, select Allow multiple users to make changes at the same time.
Save the shared worksheet to a network location where other users can access it using the Save As dialogue box.
"Shared Workbooks" is an older feature that allows multiple people to work on a workbook at the same time. Because of the numerous disadvantages of this function, it has been phased out in favour of co-authoring.
