On the Editing tab, select Allow multiple users to make changes at the same time.
Save the shared worksheet to a network location where other users can access it using the Save As dialogue box.
"Shared Workbooks" is an older feature that allows multiple people to work on a workbook at the same time. Because of the numerous disadvantages of this function, it has been phased out in favour of co-authoring.
There are numerous benefits to utilising MS Excel to share workbooks. One benefit is that it is simple to share and work on projects with others. Another advantage is that you may edit and update your workbook in real time without having to worry about storing it or losing any data.
