Select Format from the Cells group on the Home command tab.
Select Hide & Unhide > Hide Rows from the Format menu's Visibility section. The row is obscured.
Select one or more columns, then use Ctrl to select additional non-adjacent columns.
Select Hide from the right-click menu of the selected columns.
Click Format in the Cells group on the Home tab. Choose one of the following options: Click Hide & Unhide, then Unhide Rows or Unhide Columns under Visibility.
Unhide Columns or Rows by selecting the Format button beneath the Home tab / Cells group (another option is to drag over the range of columns or rows you are interested in unhiding then Right click in the column or row heading and choose unhide). The Columns and Rows you created are now visible.
