Instead, it's usually better to replicate an existing sheet, and there's a quick shortcut for that. Simply hold down the Ctrl key while clicking and dragging the tab of the sheet. When you let go of the mouse, Excel will duplicate the sheet exactly. To see this shortcut in action, watch the video below.
Select the sheet you wish to duplicate with a left-click and hold.
Keep the Ctrl key pressed and held. In the sheet mouse icon, a plus sign will show.
Drag the sheet to the right until the right-hand down arrow appears.
The left mouse button should be released. Then press and hold the Ctrl key.
To do so, first select all of the sheets you want to remove. Hold down the Ctrl key and then click on each of the worksheets you wish to delete to select them all.
The following keyboard shortcut will remove the active sheet or the selected sheets if we want to use the keyboard instead of the mouse.
Use the keyboard shortcut ALT + H + D + S to delete the sheet.
As a result, Sheet1 has vanished from our workbook.
