The organisation hosts about 300 conferences and summits each year and is one of the top trade show and exhibition organisers. The company was founded in 1977 and is headquartered in India.
The Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI), the premier organisation of Indian capitalists, suggested a significant need for national planning in 1934.
