Friends, till now we have seen, how we can do registration on amazon and we have also seen the first step of how to make the product live. Today we will be seeing the second step of making a product live. That is, to make a product go live on platforms like amazon, an online marketplace, to add, to create products, to update products, on this platform. We will be discussing this in this small session. So, let's go and see this practically.
Earlier, we had registered ourselves in the amazon seller central account, then after that we had received a screen. Okay friends. If ever in this session you have any doubts then you can definitely ask us. I would also like to give you a tip here, as in the amazon seller center there can be some small changes in it. So, do not get panicked. Here, the amazon everytime guides you that, this thing is new, and this thing over here is also new. It guides you itself. Okay.
We need to go towards the left hand side. Look, in this new navigation, on the left hand side of this. You can see three lines. You need to click on these three lines. Then, you can see there are many different lists. In this list, if you can see, catalog and then inventory and then pricing, then orders. We will be seeing all these step by step. Everything that is important will definitely be covered.
One of the most important things here is, Add Products. Okay? So, we will be adding a product, which is an important thing. Now, as soon as you click on Add Product. Then this screen will open up. It is written here, find your product in amazon's catalog. Is your product already being sold by someone? For example, let's take a table. You are also selling a table or someone else is also selling a table.
See, here many different products related to the table have appeared. Are you selling a similar product? You can select the condition of the product from here. Is it new, or is it old? You can tell it here, then it is written here, sell this product. When you click it here, it will be added to your product catalog. For now, you can add one by one, or else the best solution that is there, let me provide it to you.
You need to go back. Then see here, “I am uploading a file to add multiple products. Because if you are in amazon with a single product then its okay but if you are entering with multiple products, then, this information would be very useful. As you can enter multiple products at a single go. So as soon as you click on it. When you will click on it.
Then you can see a screen. In this screen amazon is saying, that we have a lot of excel files. In those excel files, there are a lot of templates. As to how you need to add the product, feed it and update it. As soon as you update it, or you create that excel file then, you have to upload that file. Yes?
So the very first step is to download the template. For that what you have to do is. You have to download the excel sheet according to the particular category. As right now the products that we have with us, the one that we are selling right now, for our client is. Dye cutting, that is, dye cutting rule. Let me show you the category of the dye cutting rule by clicking it… The first is home and kitchen… Then… Craft Material… Then… Scrapbooking… Then diecutting… Then replacement blades… Look friends, we have to meticulously choose the exact category of product. The exact category of my product can be, Now for this product, the exact category is replacement blade… I will be selecting replacement blades here. As soon as I will be selecting the replacement blades, as I select it, then it will be selected here at the bottom, and this category will appear. Then here you can see a button. The button that is visible here is, generate template.

As I will click on the generate template, then a file will be downloaded here. This file is being downloaded here… I will be saving it. Now, when I will open this, I will be seeing another screen, that I will show you right now.
As I opened this downloaded file. In this template I am able to see different-different sheets here. It is shown as how you can read this template, and understand which column is important and which column you have to feed data… How you have to enter the images. A bifurcation of the images have been given here friends. As to how you have to use a standard image. You do not have to use it like this, but you have to use it like shown here. Meaning, you have to stretch the image and then you have to upload it like that. It should look like this certain way or in this certain angle.
Then they have also kept some examples, so that you can understand better through this example. With the help of the example you have been provided as how to enter the data. Friends, with the example it is explained as how you should be feeding the data. Furthermore, there is a template given here. When you will be entering any information here, or updating it or modifying it. Then you have to enter all that information in the sheet of the template. As I have just feeded the data in this sheet.
Look, we have written the name of our brand. Then I have entered the information as it was shown in the template, as it was mentioned in each column, as to this should be the format of the data. I have entered the data similarly, I have updated the data in that way.

Once you have updated it, then you have to save it. Now, till here, you have downloaded your file, then you updated it. Now, what is the next step? The next step is, you have to upload this. Here, you can see, “upload your inventory file.” Once you click on it, then here, the amazon seller central account is saying, that you need to upload a file.
Whatever file that you have downloaded, feed the data in that file. It will take some time to do so. You need to enter, your name, your unit name, the quantity of your product then the price of your product. And all the other details, you need to fill all that information. To upload the file, you can click on browse file or else you can directly drag and drop. I will be clicking it and then selecting the file… (Pause 4 sec)
Now, as you upload your file, once your file is uploaded. Here you need to click on this button. “Upload file”. Once you click on this upload file button, you will find monitor upload status.
There you can see if your file has been uploaded properly or not. You can see the status of the file.As you will look into monitor upload status, you will get to know if your file has been uploaded properly or not. As soon as you complete three of the steps, you will complete this process.
