Yes, now just imagine, can your apartment or house be listed on a hotel booking website?

When you think about it, it might feel weird. (Am I right?)

But yes, it is possible and I am going to explain how is it possible, in this training program.

So, friends, “If your goal is to drive direct bookings” for your home or your apartment, you can do it.

Well, friends, I am sure you might have explored a lot of online hotel booking websites.

For example, “cleartrip, yatra, make my trip, Oyo hotels” etcetera. I am sure you might have visited all these websites at least once. There are different categories of hotels like 2 stars, 3 stars, and 5 stars.

Just think about this. recently a company was launched that change the scenario of every other hotel company. Yes, friends, I am talking about “Airbnb”.

Just imagine. Airbnb is a type of hotel module where the one who is hosting the house, apartment, or hotel is the one amongst you only. And the guest who is coming is also someone from you.

So, Airbnb built this complete scenario and got its service to you and us both.

Well, yes friends, “you can host anything, anywhere.”

For example, if you have a spare room in your house, or if you want to rent your entire house as a hotel where you are welcoming the guests in your house to live as they live in a hotel.

You can create the entire scenario as a hotel at your home.

Now, obviously, each business has its pros and cons. So does Airbnb. Come let’s discuss.

First of all, let’s understand the process.

So, open their website and register so that people can know that you are ready to host. Then you have to add your personal details like “pan card, Aadhar card” or any other government proof. then you will also have to provide agreement of your house as a proof. that yes, this house actually belongs to you. You will have to provide proof of identity.

Then you have to add the images of your house with every angle like front images, inside images etcetera. So, you have to display all the images there.

Now, come let’s have a look at Airbnb’s website.

Well friends, when you open the website of Airbnb you will land on this landing page where the first thing you will see is a question that says “not sure where to go?” You can search for the destination here and book your dream place.

You can see all the places where Airbnb has its network. You can experience new things and you can get a home-like atmosphere no matter where you go.

For example, in India, whether you travel in the east, west, north, or south, you will definitely get a feeling of your home.

Some might offer their own home, while others might offer their hotel. But mostly, houses are only listed on this website.

If you also feel that yes, I have a spare room at my house or my other house is already vacated, and you want to rent it. Then instead of renting monthly, you can rent your house or your room to different people every day. Yes, friends. By becoming a host.

If you have any queries, they have an option here to “ask a super host”. They have this entire community and forums where their sales representatives guide you. Now, friends, can you imagine, how would have Airbnb got the idea to launch such a business.

Well, there were many problems before. The first one was “high price”. Yes, when you travel internationally, you might have noticed that the prices for the hotels are very high. Then the second problem was that by staying in a hotel there was “no real-time experience with the city”. Because when you stay in a hotel, every experience is almost the same. But when you book an Airbnb, you get a home-like atmosphere and a real-time experience of living in a particular city. (Do you agree?)

One more problem that most people faced was “finding the right hotel”. Yes, finding the right hotel at the right time in the right place was a bit difficult before.

So, Airbnb spotted all the problems and came up with a solution in the market.
