So hey everyone,
Welcome to learnvern.
In the previous topic we have understood about Facebook ads library and lead magnet.
We understood about lead and lead magnet both.
Today we are going to learn about custom audiences.
And how many types of custom audiences are there?
First of all we will understand what is a custom audience?
“A custom audience is an ad targeting option that lets you find your existing audiences among people who are on Facebook.”
Means that you have a certain list of details in which there is name and mobile number.
You have an existing email id and name.
You can see the customer list here.
As soon as you enter the customer list, from there you can run an ad from there.
Going forward you will see that when we will run ads from the ads library there you will get an option of custom audience.
By using that the moment you will upload you can run your ad easily.
“You can use sources such as customer lists, website or app traffic or engagement on Facebook to create custom audiences of people who already know your business.”
Means the leads and customer list you have in your business you can directly upload it there.
How many types of custom audiences are there?
Here you can see custom audiences come through various types of sources. Like from website, app, customer list, offline activity.
There isn’t much use of this tool.
The option we will see in the ads library going forward will be very useful to you.
Meaning of custom audience here is that you are creating a custom audience.
After creating a custom audience, you are uploading it.
People are knowing from there.
You are showing ads to that audience.
Ok.
This had a very simple meaning.
Now we will understand the lookalike audience.
“A lookalike audience is a way your ads reach new people who are likely to be interested in your business because they share similar characteristics.”
So here suppose you have data.
Ok.
That database which you are uploading, with that database if there is a similar audience which matches and it is showing as audience so that will be called as lookalike audience.
Like, we had a custom audience, we upload that list and ask Facebook to target the same audience so that is known as lookalike audience.
Mostly it is not that much used.
After 6-9 months when you will be running many ads at that time you will find it useful.
Because at that time only you will have a list.
