In the last topic we have learned how you can create your personal Facebook account and along with that we have also seen the Facebook dashboard part 1 and part2.
Today we are going to learn from the business point of view that “why your business should be on the Facebook”
Currently there is a myth between the people that Facebook accounts are not that useful because we do not get that much reach there.
But guys let me tell you, Facebook is very useful nowadays as well.
Why Facebook is very much useful today, that I'm going to explain to you.
Our first option is “organic Reach/ audience”
when you create an account on your Facebook and work properly then you get a good reach there.
To reach what you have to do, you have to upload your contents regularly. And your content should be unique. You have to post quality content there.
Like you have a business of clothing, then it should not be like you just click a picture of your clothes and put them there. You have to make it creative.
you have to launch giveaways. You can do live videos.
You can run Q&A sessions…
If anyone has questions related to the product you launch in the market, you can answer those questions in Q&A sessions.
If you are uploading your content properly, then you will get good reach there.
Here we are also talking about the audience. On Facebook you can do detailed targeting in regards to the audience, that's the best feature of Facebook.
For example, currently my business is related to digital marketing, then my target audience could be B2B. I will target businessmen, and I will ask them to take my product. Here we can target our audience in the proper manner…
Let's say our business is related to clothing and I am targeting only female clients. So Facebook has an option that, if you wanna show your product on Instagram to females only then you can do that.
That's a great feature.
Let's say I'm covering a digital marketing course right now. So who will be my target audience?
Businessman, professional, students, bachelor degree student, master degree students, or anyone who is sitting ideal.
So I can put these as a keyword and target my audience.
Like you may have experienced, if you search related to digital marketing then it will show you digital marketing ads again and again.
Why does that happen? It happens because of the detailed targeting and through the audience section.
Let's say I take one more example.
Suppose we have a jewelry business… So now your audience would be very much premium. Because jewelry is a very costly product. So you will make sure that you will target only a premium audience.
If you show your jewelry products to a premium audience, then the product might be sold there.
Here, I explained your regards to organic reach / audience.
“Database”
Facebook has a bigger database.
Facebook has a database related to gender. so you can target your audience according to that and show your product to them.
Next one is “organic marketing”.
If you're uploading your post properly and making it very much engaging. Then it will help you to grow your organic followers and clients. And your content will be well viral in an organic manner.
You may have seen lots of things on Facebook and Instagram. Every day something goes viral.
They are getting views in millions. That exists currently as well.
When your content is very much unique and you are guiding people, then these viral things happen to your content.
You just do not need to copy your competitors. you have to make your content unique and then only you will get lots of customers on your account.
That was a free option.
Now, this is a paid option.
What comes under paid, it is Facebook ads.
As I told you, what you can do through Facebook Ads. you can generate leads. That is my most favorite part.
What you can do in lead generation, you can take information like contact number, email ID, city name and interest by targeting people through Facebook ads.
And the moment you get information regarding the people, you can target them again and again. You can show your ads to them again and again.
You will get many customers through those ads.
You can run Facebook ads with a very cheaper price as well.
Means you can run your ads daily for ₹100 only.
You can see that you may reach 1000 people for only ₹100.
If anyone purchases from those thousand people, then your return on investment is also great.
By investing ₹100, you are selling your product and generating good revenue.
properly running ads is very much important for that.
It is not just needed to boost your post.
After that it is, “target based ads”.
Target based ads means Let's say I have a business in Mumbai. When I can show my Ads in a range of five kilometers in Mumbai. Let's say I have a target audience of Ahmedabad. I can show my Ads to a particular area of two kilometers in Ahmedabad.
So target based ads feature is very much useful for us.
If I give you an example how it is useful to us. Let's say I have a school here.
And admission season is going on there. And in every area there are schools…
so schools target that, lots of students come to the school from that particular area.
So what they do, they target that particular area.
Another example is, like you have seen the food brands. Their franchise one targeted a particular area and franchisee two targeted area number 2. Those are different areas in the same city..
So you can run your ads by targeting those areas. That is a great thing. You can run target base ads and bring lots of customers by doing that.
It is a very useful thing.
After that here we talk about “Remarketing”.
Remarketing is known as retargeting as well…
Retargeting means, once you target your market and audience, you have shown your ads to 100 audiences… and 50 people have shown their interest, then you can show your ads to those 50 people again. You can generate lots of revenue by showing them your ads again and again.
If I explain you in a nutshell, suppose you run an ad currently and you have shown that ad to 100 people, 50 people are interested out of those 100. Now you will show your ad 2 to those 50 people. Now those 50 people will realize that in the first ad we got a discount and now in the 2nd ad we are getting more discount. Then people will engage more.
If you take an example of Zomato. Zomato shows the same ad again and again to us. So it makes an impact in our mind. We feel that if they are showing ads to me again and again, then I should purchase it once.
If I give you one more example, suppose you have a website. And you have a clothing business. Let's say the price of one shirt is ₹800…. You are getting a user through this ad. That user is adding your product in the cart. And he exited it from there.
Now on remarketing, you can see that the person who added your product in the cart is interested. Now you can show another ad to those people that our prices have dropped.
Let's say it is now 700 rupees only. You can show them that ₹100 is reduced.
Now that person will realize that, I should purchase this product and he will check out that product from there… We are getting business like this.
We have to target in a proper manner and remarketing is one of the best tools available to us.
Now the next one is very important to us.
It is insights/ analytics.
Insights means, let's say you have uploaded any post, so we get insights from there like which kind of audience is visiting that post, how many of them like that post, how many of them are visiting our website. We'll also show that, previous month we got 100 likes and this month we are getting around 200 likes, it means that our analytics is growing.
It will also show the percentage of male and females. You can see every analytics there. You can make your judgment by seeing those analytics. This is a great tool.
Next one is “build loyalty”
You can find loyal customers through Facebook.
I give you one example.
Let's say you have a business of clothings. And you are providing premium clothings with quality products. You are not getting any issue from any customers. Then what you can do is ask for reviews from customers.
If you upload those reviews on a daily basis, then you can generate loyal customers from there.
you will find loyalty based customers there. But you need to do your marketing properly and upload content in the proper manner.
Another option is related to SEO.
In SEO, we have to generate more organic traffic.
Let's say you have a clothing website. And you have uploaded a post on Facebook and your post is getting viral. That video is getting viral. You are getting views in millions.
So now interested people will visit your profile and from there they will visit your website. And that traffic will directly go to your website. So that is very much helpful for SEO.
Another step is “business groups”...
I have previously shown that I joined groups related to NFT and digital marketing. I was getting lots of benefits from there. but from a business point of view, let's say I have a jewelry business, currently I'm selling in the Ahmedabad market. That is my target audience.
So what I can do, I can add myself to groups related to Ahmedabad people, and from there I will be able to get lots of Ahmedabad traffic. If I upload anything there, I will be able to get customers from that location. That everything is organic.
After that comes “spy on your competitors”.
Let's say you have a cloud kitchen.
You are providing Tiffin service and healthy meals in that cloud kitchen. Now you can see that, your business model, how you are putting your post, how your customers are coming. But along with that, you can see your competitors as well, how those people are doing the same thing like, How many posts they are putting daily, which kind of videos they are posting daily, which kind of customers are visiting there.
I will tell you one hack also here. What you can do, suppose your competitor is posting something on Facebook. Let's say there are 100 likes on his post.
Now those 100 likes may become your good target audience. Because those audiences are connected to that business. Now they may connect to your business as well.
For example, I'm targeting male audience only. I have a clothing business. Let's say I'm doing the business of T-shirts only. And I'm selling those t-shirts only for male.
Now my competitor will do the same. Suppose he is uploading those T-shirts there and getting likes. Then I will go in there and follow them, so that my followers will increase.
So like this you can watch or spy your competitors. You can make your strategies by following them.
