Today we are going to discuss facebook ads.
See, this is a very important topic for our business.
If you miss this topic then there is no meaning to learn facebook marketing.
Because it is the most useful one.
If you have missed any part in previous topics then it is still fine but this part which i am going to tell you is very important.
This module is going to be very important for us.
I am telling you again and again what facebook ads are and why they are useful?
Kindly pay attention.
through an ads manager you can take different types of objectives and run your ads.
As you can see there are many objectives. There is awareness, consideration and conversion.
So for awareness we can run these many types of campaigns.
For consideration we can run these many types of campaigns.
And For conversion we can run these many types of campaigns.
Taking these objectives with the help of the ads manager we run the ads.
This is the meaning and main role of an ads manager.
It can be roles of ads manager as well as benefits of ads manager,
What is facebook ads manager’s main role? To reach the target audience.
As we have discussed previously,what happens with facebook ads managers?
You can reach whichever location you want to.
So it is the most important part.
I will tell you this with an example of how facebook ads will be helpful and how it works with algorithms?
I will give you one example.
I will explain this with a word file…
See, facebook has this normal form, in which there is information of all users.
We will talk about any person, like we will talk about Karan. (5 seconds gap)
Karan verma.
Ok.
Karan verma is a random name.
And his gender is male and his current age is 21.
Ok.
As his age is 21, let's say he wants to have a bachelor degree.
So he will search more about bachelors.
Ok.
He will search more and more about bachelors. He also likes cricket.
Ok. he likes to read comics.
Ok. These are his interests…
And he is also interested in fitness. We can say he is also interested in fitness and along with that he is also interested in cooking…
And he is also interested in motivational quotes. Ok...
Same will be his likes.
We will change it to engagements instead of likes.
Ok.
In engagement, which post he saves on instagram or facebook,which post he shares,which post he likes and what he posts on his stories so these all data is available with facebook.
This is a form which has all the information.
Ok. Let's understand that he is Karan. Ok.
Now, the same form will be created but the name will be different. (5 seconds gap)
And here the name will be changed.
Here I will add Kiran instead of Karan.
Ok. and here it will be female…
She doesn't have any interest in all of these.
She is looking for a job.
Her age is 25 and she is looking for a job.
In engagement she is sharing, saving and liking.
She watches interviews for jobs. Ok. (6 seconds gap)
She wants to learn digital marketing. Ok.
She wants to learn about facebook marketing.
It's her interest.
Ok. Now, here we have talked about users. We will talk the same for agencies or related to social media marketing.
But before that you have to understand that this is user information.
You will think that this isn't of any help but for facebook it is the most important.
What does Facebook do? It takes your data like your interest in bachelor degree,cricket,comics, fitness.
Let's say fitness. Karan mostly likes pictures on fitness so the facebook algorithm will show him fitness related posts again and again.
I will tell you a fun fact.
If you want to check any person’s behavior or which things he likes, what do you have to do? You just have to open his instagram page and go on the explore page. What things are coming on its explore page will tell you about his mentality.
Everything you can get to know from there. So this is a fun fact which I have shared with you.
You must have noticed things which you like that only instagram and facebook shows you again and again.
How does that happen? Through interest.
What facebook does is they take your interests and show you posts related to that again and again.
You also like and share it.
So this is your interest.
We will talk about kiran. Kiran’s interests are different.
She is working and her age is 25. She is searching for interview related posts.
These are only two pieces of information, there will be plenty like this for kiran and karan.
We will talk about learnvern.
Learnvern will be having a person for facebook marketing. Ok. There will be a person for digital marketing.
Let's say that person wants to run an ad related to our course’s interview questions.
Ok. otherwise we have recently launched a course of SEO, he wants to target the audience for the SEO.
What will be his strategy? First he will target both male and females.
And interests will be job,interview, digital marketing, facebook marketing.
There would be many boys and girls like Kiran who would be interested in digital marketing. Facebook will target all of them and show them ads…
What will happen in that, it might help to reduce cost so this is very important.
What will facebook or digital marketer person do? He will target the audience.
What will he do with that? He will take interest in detailed targeting.
Like my interest is in digital marketing so I get to see ads mostly related to digital marketing.
Because facebook has added me to that type of audience.
So what facebook does is they keep you in one type of audience.
Assume that facebook has 100 audience, one is of digital marketing other is of fitness one is of bollywood and one is cricket one is of football one is of fashion blogger and one is of makeup.
Like these there are many audiences.
One is of crypto currency, one is of the stock market. Suppose facebook has data for all of these audiences.
Data means if there are 10 people interested in the stock market then those ten people will be captured in that data.
Let's say I want to show the ads for the stock market so I will show the stock market ads to the interested people only.
There my cost per lead will also be very cheap..
So this is the main role of facebook for the target audience.
The 2nd point is that it will try to give you the cheapest lead.
Means the lead which you will get from facebook will be of very low price.
Along with that it will also do brand awareness and also bring traffic.
What will happen in traffic?
Suppose you are promoting one post when you will promote that post you have to add something for call to action.
People will come on call to action. Ok.
In call to action sponsored ad will be seen if someone clicks on sponsored ad he will come to your website or on your whatsapp or on messenger or on instagram DM.
That's how traffic comes.
In lead generation you may have seen many sponsored ads. Whenever you click on it you will get information.
These are all things we are going to learn moving forward.
Then comes reach.
In reach you can reach more and more people.
Measurable.
If you run any ad you can measure it.
Last point is to build engagements.
With this you can increase engagements.
We are reading facebook ads along with that we have also learned about business manager.
Most people get confused about facebook ads and business manager, do they mean the same?
If not then what is the difference between both of them? We will see that.
What is a Facebook ads manager?
“Strictly for managing and creating ad campaigns.”
Here it is telling that through facebook ads you can only run ads.
“In ads manager, you can also check out campaign reports, which are super handy when you are discussing ad performance with your client”.
It means here it is telling what facebook ads does?
You can manage campaigns in facebook ads. You can make it reach many people.
You can do discussions related to campaigns. These all things are done in facebook ads.
What happens in business manager?
There is a business page, two or more people are handling it, you can select admin from that.
That person will handle the business manager.
“Look at it as the hub of all facebook management.”
In facebook manager all the things come in one place to one person and on one tool and name of that tool is facebook business manager.
“You can request access to existing pages or ad accounts if you don't already have access plus you can customize employee’s access level for ad accounts.”
Here it is saying that, let's say there is any business manager there you can give people rights to handle it.
This is the first thing.
You can tell them to handle your ads account.
You can give access to any employee of your facebook page and business manager that employee, a person or any agency they will handle all of it.
