So in the previous topic we have learned about objectives of Facebook ads.
Today we are going to learn about the main topic that is how to run ads for Facebook marketing. Okay.
What do you have to do? It is very simple. I have already told you the process.
You have to open Facebook.
Here you have to type facebook dot com,your initial requirement for this will be that your Facebook should be opened.
Then we have to type ads manager. As soon as you type ad manager the page will open and you have to click on ‘create ad’.
As you will click on create ad you can see many options on the screen.
we will select brand awareness. What is brand awareness and how to run out for that? What is brand awareness and what is reach we have already discussed about that.
Now we are going to learn how to run ads for this. Here you can see the option of name the campaign there we will write the name of campaign.
Here I am writing the “Learnvern test”...(typing) ok?
Then comes ad sets.
In the ad set I will write the name “FB course”. And in create ad I will write “creative image”.
First of all we will understand what is a campaign,ad set, and create ads.
It is very much important.
So I will explain to you that there are basically three parts of this. We will understand all of them.
First one is the campaign.
Then is the ad set and after that ads.
First of all we will talk about campaigns. Suppose there is a campaign for a company. Like Holi is near, so we will launch a campaign related to Holi.
Or suppose uttrayan / Makar Sankranti is near. We will run a campaign for that.
Or if we are selling an iPhone then there will be a campaign related to the iPhone.
Now we will see what will come in the campaign and ad set.
Here I am putting structures of the campaign in front of you.
First of all, the campaign's overall objective is that I want this sale to be done in Diwali.
That is their objective.
Second is the ad set. In the ad set there is a set up of advertisements.
In that we select the audience. What will be the age group of the audience and their budget so there are three types of audience
When we run a reach campaign there will be a cold audience. Cold means the first time we are doing a tie-up with them.
As we move ahead there will be a warm audience as you will run campaigns and from that the interested people to which we are showing ads will be a hot audience.
Ok.
So here I have told you three things.
Cold clients then warm and then hot.
Cold means there are less chances of sales…
Suppose you want to purchase an iPhone.
You are seeing an iPhone 13. You will think of buying that.if you are just researching it then you are cold lead if you are interested in that then you will go to its website then you will be considered as a warm lead if you are going there again and again and you click on add to cart but you are not clicking on payment option then you are hot lead.
So we can target three types of clients so how to target such clients we will learn that…
Then you can schedule as well.
Today’s first date and you want to run an ad on the second then you can schedule it as well. How can you do that? We will learn moving ahead.
Let’s say we are running an ad for an image or video in an ad set.
We are running the ad in Gujarat or in Maharashtra. That you have to decide.
Your audience can be 1 or 2.
You can schedule today or tomorrow or the day after that…
You can run ads for low budget or high budget.
You can do AB testing as well. What is AB testing?
Suppose you are running ads in two ways: among them which will work and which will not that you don’t know.
Then You will run both the campaigns and you will see this one is successful and this one is not so that you can see if you work nicely then only you can see the difference.
So in campaign structure first will be campaign then ad set and then images and videos.

In the second ad set I can keep “Insta Course”. I can keep anything.

In AB testing you can run two types of ads. Here it is written.

Means you are running two ads and you are seeing which one is running better and which one is not. You can see all of that.
Then comes campaign budget optimisations.
I will click on it.
Here you can select a daily budget or a lifetime budget.
Let’s say I take daily budget as Rs.500 so daily my ad will be run for Rs.500
This will be considered as the lowest cost.
We can call this Campaign bid strategy.
If I select lifetime then it will show more cost. So if I write 10,000 here then the overall budget will be 10,000 rs.
If I am running ads for 10 days then for each day it will be 1000 or it can be 2000 for one day and then 500 for the rest of the days but overall in 10 days 10,000 will be spent.
Mainly this is its objective.
I will suggest you to select a daily budget and you can keep the amount as 1000 or 500 as you wish.
We have seen FB courses here. Ok.
As we will go down we can see the option of schedule.
I will select that it should be scheduled for tomorrow at 10:30 AM. That you can do.
Main thing is that you can create an audience from here. We will go to the location and I will write “Gujarat”. Okay. Gujarat, India.
Here you can see it has selected the Gujarat region.
here I can select more locations as well.
as I will write here Mumbai so it will particularly run ads in Mumbai.
I can also write Thane then ad will run in Thane if I write here Bhopal so then ad will be run in Bhopal.
I have selected Gujarat here but I don’t want to show the ad in Ahmedabad then I will select Ahmedabad in the exclude tab.
Then you can see there is a cancel sign meaning it will not run in Ahmedabad in the rest of Gujarat.
If I write here in Rajkot then the ad will not be shown in Rajkot but everywhere else.
So you can include and exclude both from here.
If you go down we can see many options which are very important.
We have to select an age group. So here I want an audience who can learn my course. So I will target such an audience that is between 18 to 50….
It will show to people till 50.
Detailed targeting is more important.
Who can take our course? Students can.
When I type student the student category will show up.
When I type digital here you can see some things like behavior, size means it will be shown to these people.
Behavior means Digital activities, internet browser used, Facebook access, browser Firefox.
So people who are using Firefox and interested in digital marketing.
Here it is written that “ People who primarily access Facebook using Firefox“
So we will target this type of audience.
If I write here “Instagram.
People who like Instagram can take our facebook course.
Or I can write bachelors.
If you click on suggestions you can see many options like BBA, Facebook access browser or any higher education.
People from universities can take our course.
If I write, businessmen or business owners can learn this course.
See suggestions, here i will write BBA.
I will write “sales. Sales persons can learn our course...
Then I will write “marketing, people from marketing can learn our course.
It Depends on you, to which people want to show this.
This is done. After that comes placement.
Placement is very much important. There are two types of placement one is automatic placements and second is manual placement.
What will happen in automatic placements? First of all we have to understand what is placement?
Placement comes in two things, one in Instagram and one Facebook.
There are different types of placement in Facebook one is stories then feed post means where you want to place your ad.
you want to put it in a story or you want to put it in feed or you want to put it in messenger so like this there are many placements.
Second is Instagram when you see Instagram stories there also you can see ads.
If you want to show that in stories or on the post.
Let me show you a sample.
Here you can see feeds and stories.
So you can select placements in different types.
Here it is asking us for automatic placement or manual placement.
In automatic what happens Facebook sees your budget and according to that budget where you can get the best result. can they be on Facebook or on Instagram or on Instagram stories? if some company is receiving more conversions on messenger then it will show on messenger.
Instagram and Facebook’s AI that is Artificial intelligence, with which they can see and understand the algorithm and then decide.
Automatic placements. See it is written here.
“Use. automatic placements to maximize your budget and help show your ads to more people.”
Means in low budget you can show ads to more people with the help of automatic placements.
Then comes “ Facebook’s delivery system will allocate your ad’s budget across multiple placements based on where they’re likely to perform best.
Means it will see where this budget is performing the best.
Then comes Manual placements.
If you want to decide where you want to show your ads…
Here you can see four options : facebook, Instagram, audience network, messenger.
As of now i will remove these all and I want to run ads on Instagram only.
So you can select Instagram and run ads on Instagram.
Instagram feeds and Instagram explore. See Instagram explore looks like this.
The Instagram shop will look like this.
Instagram messenger will look like this.
You can see the ad in the Instagram inbox.
Instagram stories, facebook stories,messenger stories, in stream : in stream means in video base.
Near search box, articles, application sites.
You can decide where you want to run the ad. But I will always suggest you to select an automatic placement in this the best optimisation is done and the spending will also be the best.
We will click on next.
Then you have to select on which page you want to run an ad.
So here I have a page of “Bake my day” company and Instagram is selected.
Then you can see different types of options like you want a single image or video or you want to do a carousel or you want collections. suppose I want to add a single image then I will select it.
When i click on ad media then i can see different types of images, i am selecting this image.
Suppose it is of jewelry that is why it is showing me this image.
Strong women are made of grit plus grace. Ok.
This is written here, suppose I want to replace this. I want this image, I will click on next.
You can change the placement in all of the three options.
In stories it will look like this in Feedback it will look like this and in search results it will look like this.
You can crop this as well.
If you want to make it vertical then it will look like this in the stories.
So you have to decide. I will suggest that you focus on the size you should always go to . If the size is not proper then it may look like this.
The blank space is not good, it will decrease the chances of conversions.
Here you can select according to you.
You can also select text as it is written in a complete bakery and confectionery shop.
So you can select text according to you. I will write“ Best place to eat cake” (typing)
You can see it here in the inbox.
Let me give you the best example related to bakery.
I will remove this and search for a bakery image.
Here the size should be 1080*1080 pixels.
I will take this image. Ok.
I have downloaded this.
I will click on add media, then upload so i have selected.
See I am having size issues. For this you have to open canva.
Canva dot com.
Then you have to click on an Instagram post.
Here you have to copy this image or you can select a template from here as well suppose I have taken this image.
I will download this and this is downloaded after downloading I will upload this you have to go on ad media then upload then it will be done as you can see it is 1080*1080…
Here you can crop this as well. I can crop here also…
You have to adjust on your own; this is just for learning…
You can select the size according to you.
Primary text is very important. You have to write primary text. Primary text has to be perfect.
As I click on publish my ad will be posted.
But it will take time for the ad to be accepted.
Ads will be reviewed for 24 hours. After going in review it can be active in 24 hours.
