today we are going to talk about reach ads.
I have told you that brand awareness and reach is very important but today we will learn how we can run ads for reach…
So for that you have to type facebook dot com slash ads manager.
As soon as you type that you will be on the dashboard of Facebook ads manager.
Okay so here you can run ads very easily.
Here you can see that the ad which we had run yesterday is still scheduled; it is not run yet.
It is not yet live. The reason behind that is that I have not added any amount in billing if I had added any amount in billing here so our ad might have run by now it could have started.

So today we are going to learn about reach.
Reach is very important and my favorite topic. Why?
Because I have reached my post to 1-1.5 lakh people in one thousand rupees.
Because it helps us to reach around 1 to 1,50,000 people.
So what happens in this if you invest Rs.1000 and if your campaign is right then you can reach approx one lakh people so the trick which i have told you you just have to follow that with the help of that you will reach at least this many people.
So I will type on the campaign “reach campaign” again. I will write a “reach ad” and then I will come in and we can write a “graphical image of product A”…
So guys this is for our understanding of what we have uploaded for the create ad then we will click on continue and as soon as you click on continue see here’s the name of the campaign which you have given.
This is a very simple step which you have to follow, then you have to click on next, next again you have to select a page.
Now guys, I will write here 100 rs. We will start from 100 rs.
It will give us an estimated daily result around 11k-32k as shown here by investing just 100 rs.
As you increase the amount, like here i will make it 10,000 then you can reach 1,00,000 people.
Sorry, in 1000 you can reach 1 lakh people.
As I have told you earlier, reaching 1,00,000 or two lakh people is very easy.
As today’s date is the 19th and You can select the end date as well.

And the daily budget will be 1000.
So here our reach will increase as we are spending 1000 daily.
So here you can write the start date and end date.
End date means when you want to stop the campaign.

Why am I taking this example?
In hostel or PG their objective is when any person comes from out of the town like I am in Ahmedabad as of now if someone comes in Ahmedabad for study or for a college or someone comes for a job from the outer city so he has to look for a PG or a hostel or something where he can stay, second thing if someone has came for a vacation then he will search for a hotel for staying for 2 to 3 days so how will you target such people I will tell you that.

As you can see we can target the age group here. We will keep18 here as we are taking this for each group who are willing to live in a PG so for such people I am running a campaign.
Students who are doing bachelors or masters or people who are working there can be around 35. They are students and working people.
Gender can be both as I want to target both of them.
In detail targeting what can I do?
Students who come here to study for bachelors, masters, BBA. I can type all types of courses here as I have already told you….
Here I will write student, working professionals…. You can also write professional degrees here…
What else can we write here? As I will write about working, job. See here we also have a new option that is a new job. If someone has joined a new job they can also come here…
See here it is written something to be noted “ People who have updated their profile with a new job position in the last six months”
So there will be more requirements for such people. Why?
It is possible that someone who has started a new job has come from out of the city.

so you can target those people particularly.

Someone can come here for an MBA or can be a university student or someone has come for MBA marketing or for a career.
We can select offices, jobs, no not recruitment, people can come for sales.
As we will go below we can see many options there you can select career, job then we can talk about transport and moving.

Let’s say I have selected this audience and I will go here... You can see the option of ‘show more’ options as you will go on, see here we have connection problem so this is very much important for us.
see what option it is giving “people who currently like or follow your page”.
If you want to target those people you can do it from here.
People similar to those who currently like or follow your page.
Means you can target those people who are like that the people who already follow you so you can do that as well.
Exclude people who currently like or follow your page.
Means in the third step you can exclude the people who already follow or like your page as they are following us. Okay. This is a very good option.
There are also events.
Events means People who have responded to your event.
Means the people who have already responded to our event if you want to target such people.
Exclude people who have already responded to your event.
Means you can exclude the people who have already responded to your event. (SME is saying wrong)...
We will not target the people who are excluded.
We will target the people who are without exclusion.
So this is also a very good option... Here I am taking examples of real estate again and again or a PG. In location you can find four types of location.
People living in or recently in this location. If a new person has recently moved to our location you would like to target people who are in Ahmedabad.
People living in this location. This is not of our use. Why? Because people were already living in Ahmedabad we cannot target them for a hotel or a PG.

See here it is written in the description that “people whose most recent location is within the selected area”.
Means a person who has recently been in this area I have just come here you can target those people.
See this is also a very good option. People traveling in this location.
You can target those people. As you have seen examples of Domino’s.
In the beginning there were very advertisements for Domino's but now there are many brands like La Pinoz, Uncle SAM’s, Domino’s.
Now there are many brands of pizza like la pinoz, la Milano but in the beginning Domino’s was the most famous one.
It is in the trend but there are many competitors now. So all of them use the same strategy.
If you’re going to any new city and there is a branch of Dominos. Then what Dominos used to do was suppose they have left the stock in the evening so they will target people who are coming in that area in the evening with discount.
you might have seen that if you’re going to a new place you will receive a message and ads why that happens? This is done through this option.
Messages are different. We are not talking about messages as of now. We are talking about the ads which come on Facebook and Instagram.
I have told you all of this stuff. It has taken a lot of effort to build this audience.
It is not like that everytime we run a campaign we will create an audience, target, location.
It doesn’t work like that. What will we do? We will save this audience.
Here I can write “audience created for XYZ brand”. Okay save…
Our audience is now saved.
You can see the location here and age group and interest of people.
As we go below we can see two options: automatic placement or manual placements. I have already told you that you have to click on automatic placement.

This is also saying as I will click on publish and my campaign will be scheduled okay.
so this was our second campaign in which we have talked about reach.
