CRUD stands for create, read, update, and delete, and it is a computer programming acronym that refers to the four functions that are required to develop a persistent storage application: create, read, update, and delete.

CREATE, READ, UPDATE, and DELETE are the acronyms for CREATE, READ, UPDATE, and DELETE. CRUD is defined in SQL Server as four operations performed on selected data against a specific SQL database: Inserting columns and values into the table is referred to as CREATE.
