For example, Microsoft Office and Google Docs cloud services will be accessible from your devices, and anything saved on your PC would be accessible from your phone. File stores will be centralised in this way, and multiple clients will be able to access them.
The three major components in the client-server model:
presentation,
application logic
data storage.
The client-server architecture is best suited for applications that require a separation of concerns or abstraction of concerns between the client and the server; it is designed for systems that demand strong interoperability. The client-server architectural style aids programmes in scalability and performance.
The main benefit of this paradigm is that it allows servers to be deployed over a network. General functionality (for example, a printing service) can be made available to all clients and does not require that all services implement it.
The client and server are fundamentally different in that the client relies on the server's services, whilst the server approves the client's requests and provides the desired services. Clients are not equipped to store and interpret big data sets, whereas servers are.
