Fragments are a new type of web component that allow developers to easily create interactive UIs.

The Fragments life cycle comprises 5 stages:

  • Lifecycle Callbacks
  • Setup Lifecycle Callbacks
  • Attach Lifecycle Callbacks
  • Render Lifecycle Callbacks
  • Destroy Lifecycle Callbacks

  • OnCreateView() is used to create a new view and return the corresponding View object. OnCreate() is used to create a new activity and return the corresponding Activity object.
