Types of Approaches to Staffing

Multinational corporations apply four basic methods to hiring decisions: geocentric, ethnocentric, polycentric, and regiocentric approaches.

The four global staffing approaches are described in this international recruitment policy template.

The ethnocentric approach, the polycentric approach, and the geocentric approach have all been described as three forms of personnel policies in multinational businesses.

  • Ethnocentric staffing.
  • Polycentric staffing.
  • Geocentric staffing.

The continual process of identifying, selecting, evaluating, and creating a working relationship with present or future employees is referred to as staffing. The basic purpose of staffing is to find suitable people for various positions inside the firm.
