A good amount of readers are confused by the different margins that are available in MS Word. You can set page margins in MS Word using the Page Setup dialog box. This dialog box is available if you are using a version of MS Word that supports automatic page setup. Margins are one of the most important design elements. They determine the appearance and feel of your pages, as well as their usability.
In response to an online search, you receive back a list of options. Find what you're looking for and click "Find More". A second set of results will start from among the first results. There is little difference between option 1 and option 2 but it's the presence of the first one that hints at its importance on an enumeration page. A border in Microsoft Word can be created by using the invisible ruler that is present in each document. When you are editing a specific section of a document, you can get rid of its ruler, thus creating borders around your text.
Margins can be adjusted in two ways:
1. Margins and page settings: Press the dialog box launcher and then go to Margins and Page Setup.
2. Adjust margins on a document: You can use the ruler to make adjustments or use the keyboard shortcuts described next.
