The content of an image can be inserted into a Word document with the following steps:
1. Press Ctrl+D to create a new table.
2. Press F11 to enter “Insert” Mode.
3. Click on the Pictures button that appears at the left side of the ribbon, then click on Insert picture or photo, and browse for your image file (the one you want to insert).
4. Click on the Insert button at the top-left corner of the ribbon, then click on Insert into Selection (at the bottom-left corner of ribbon) and select where you want your image to be inserted in your document.
5. If you want your images to appear in all text frames, click on Automatic Picture Update so that Word will update them without any further work by you

Ms Word has a way of inserting images using the Picture tool which you can access by clicking the ‘Insert’ tab on the ribbon. All you need to do is follow these simple steps:
1) Click the picture icon on the Insert tab on the ribbon, then click "Picture".
2) Click "Pictures from File" and select your image.
3) Click the small square that appears at the top-right corner of your image and type in how many images you want to insert into your table.
4) Click Insert to place your first image at its ideal place in your table
