Find feature in Microsoft Word allows users to search for a word or phrase and get the exact result of the search (example: "creative").A new feature in Google Search is called "Find". It uses this technology to find the exact word you are looking for. There are many different features that can be found by searching with the Find feature, but three of these are most commonly used.
The replace function in Microsoft word is an important function that helps you to replace one character or word with another.
Replace lets you quickly change the text in your document so that it uses the correct spelling of a specific word. For instance, if you wanted to change the word “marvel” to “Marvel”, you would use the following steps:
1. Find and Copy all instances of “marvel” in your text, which will give you a list of words in your document
2. Select all these words and paste them into a new document
3. Type Marvel in one box and then select Replace from the Edit menu
It usual process to find and replace text in Microsoft Word is to first make sure the selection is highlighted and then press F8. There are two other keyboard shortcuts: Ctrl+H and Ctrl+F8.
To change all instances of "I" to "we" in a document, press Ctrl+H and type "we" instead of "I". To replace the word "myself" with "ourselves", press Ctrl+F8 and type “ou” instead.
