Bullets and numbering help make content more digestible and easier to understand. When writing a document, there are several variations on how to number different sections. The use of bullets is especially useful in longer body texts when the content exceeds the space available in the text. While Numbering in MS Word is a very common writing task. It is done to best represent the structure of a document and create a hierarchy of content.

You can use templates from templates provided by Microsoft to get started with creating standard bullet points that will help them out when they read through your entire document before making their decision

Format Number in Ms Word is the solution for you. Select the text or numbered list you want to change. On the Home tab, under the Paragraph, click the arrow next to Numbered List. To change the style, click the down arrow next to Number style and choose number or letter.
