With windows features such as AutoText and AutoFormatting, we can easily separate the text into columns in MS Word. In Word, there is a feature called "text to columns". This feature allows you to divide the text into different boxes for easier reading. For example, if your text contains a lot of numbers, you can add "numbers" and "numeral" lines to the document.

Most of the split screen windows are opened by pressing a '+' or '-' button. However, there are some cases when you need to do that by using a shortcut key. Once done, use Alt+ Shift+2 or Ctrl+2 to merge the windows back together.
