Ms. Word has a flexible character limit of thousands. It allows for a very high level of editing and formatting. The upper limit is set by the Windows Registry, but it can be changed from within Control Panel by right-clicking on the file and selecting “Set Character Limit” from its drop-down list. We use MS Word to create content by putting together words, paragraphs, headings, and tables in a way that makes sense to the reader. Often we don’t include all the relevant details, or we take shortcuts because we don’t have time to make an entire document - sometimes even a single page - using only MS Word's capabilities. We do this because there are much easier ways to make a work of art out of our content
