- Click on "Watermark" under the “Page Background” section of the "Design" tab

The preconfigured watermarks (text) here can be used in various ways.

There are several other options which you can use as per your requirements. 

- There is a feature called ‘More Watermarks from Office.com’, which allows users to import new styles from their website. 

- If you want to remove a watermark from Microsoft Word, remove the same by clicking on ‘Remove Watermark’.

- ‘Custom Watermark’ option can be used to add text, images, or shapes to a document.

Page Color in Word

The Page Color option in MS Word is a feature that allows you to choose the color of your page background. It is useful if you want to make your document stand out on the screen or if you have a specific color in mind for your project.

As seen in the figure below, choose the "Design" tab and choose the "Page Color" option. You can select a shade from the pre-selected palette based on your preferences or design your unique colour. You can also select "More Colors" -> "custom" and enter the required RGB values.

Choose any Color from the palette to add the desired background color.

 You can also choose any desired gradients for the document using the Color Fill option.

 Page Borders in Word

Page Border in MS Word allows users to create a border around the page. It is a popular feature among professional writers who need to create a consistent look and feel for their documents.

Page borders can be applied to any page of your document, and they can be created from any side of the page. You can also apply them to your entire document. These borders will help you set the tone for your paper and make it look more polished.

After choosing the background colour and watermark, you may add a border to your document to further enhance its creative appeal. You can choose between using "Art" as the page border or the default "lines" border with several layouts.
