FAQs

The following is how you access a model's scenes in SketchUp Viewer:

  • Select the Main Menu option ( ).
  • The Scenes tab displays when you click the Scenes icon ().

In fact, scenes allow you to save and offer distinct model views and characteristics to other individuals. Each scene you build displays as a tab at the top of the modelling window, and the Scenes panel allows you to manage them.

Right-click a model viewport in LayOut and select Open with SketchUp from the context menu. Use the navigation tools in SketchUp to frame the view you want. (View > Animation > Add Scene) Create a new scene for your model. Make a backup of your model.

Using SketchUp, you can export many scene images at the same time:

  • Uncheck the Scence Transitions box in Window -> Model Info -> Animation.
  • Set the file type to JPEG under the File menu -> Export -> Animation.
  • To change the size of the photographs, click the Options button.
  • Animation can be exported.

Scene tabs appear above the viewport and below the toolbars in all scenes.
