We will follow the steps below to create a house exterior in Sketchup:
- Create a plan view of the exterior of your home on paper. Include dimensions for each wall section.
- Create a profile view of the exterior on paper. Include dimensions for each wall section, roof and door opening.
- Import your plan view into Sketchup and use it as a reference while you model your design in 3D.
- Export your completed design in .STL or .SKP format (or any other format that is supported by the software you are using) and print it out on paper or import it into another software program like Adobe.
