A structural shape used in building is a rotated rectangle. 90 degrees on the inside. Angle A=B=C=D is a 90-degree exterior angle. There are two diagonal lines.

To update a line, follow these steps:

  • Choose the Move tool ( ).
  • Hover your mouse over one of the line's end points with the Move tool.
  • To modify the length of the line, click and drag the end point.

  • In the Model Info window, choose your units and precision.
  • Select Window > Model Info while your model is open in SketchUp.
  • Select Units from the left-hand sidebar. The Units panel is displayed.
  • Select your favourite unit format from the Format drop-down list: Architectural, Decimal, Engineering, or Fractional.

In order to keep the two advantages (speed and simplicity) for which Viola and Jones first created this technique.

Step 1:  (x,y)→(y,−x). ( x , y ) → ( y , − x ) A 90-degree clockwise rotation will provide the same outcome as a 270-degree counterclockwise rotation. Step 2: Rotate the rectangle by following the 90-degree clockwise rule for each point.
