The following are the rotation methods in Sketchup:
- Inverse Kinematics Rotation: This is one of the most commonly used types of rotations in Sketchup. It is also known as IKR and it uses a chain to link joints together.
- Free Rotation: This type of rotation does not use any geometry to rotate the model but instead relies on the user to apply a preset force at each joint in order for it to work properly.
